great tool works weel for the money
Excelent tool. While it does stick so runinng your finger over it in place smothes it out and makes for very nice and easy dimensional transfer. Mine also did not come with magnets on the back not sure if its a miss print or if mine is just missing them. So be prepared for that to be off

Best contour gauge ever
I ran a University shop for several decades and always used a contour gauge. I loved them all and over the years they improved. A close friend saw one in my home shop and mentioned he would love one. So I set out reading about every one available and this one got the trophy. Excellent quality and I love the measuring guides a nice feature that is a new innovation. The plastic seems higher quality and I gave it away. Aah it is better than the one I had. You wont be displeased by this copy-cat tool it is very durable, easy to keep clean and the price super reasonable. I am going to buy another for myself. The vendor did an excellent job of getting me the tool fast and well packed. Once you have one in a shop you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

AWESOME TOOL!
If you need to cut detailed pieces of materiel to fit those tricky areas then the Goldblatt Tool Company G02102 10-Inch Contour Gauge is for you. I've tried others and they don't work nearly as well as this one.

Just good enough
This tool does a so-so job. It's limited by the coarseness of the fingers and an inability to lock in the contour once you have it, although there's enough resistance that it'll hold unless you accidentally nudge a finger. If you need a fine-grained contour, you'd be better off selecting one of the wire-finger types. I picked this one because I don't need that sort of fine control, and this was a cheaper alternative than the wire types. I've also seen some wire-fingered contour gauges that got the fingers bent, and that won't happen with this tool. If you can get by with just-good-enough quality and utility, this tool should serve your needs.

Not the best quality!
The contour blades are way too loose for me. Move easily when transferring. Wish I had spent a little more money for better quality.

Garbage!
Total junk. There is not enough tension to hold the individual slides in place. Impossible to use as intended.

Risultato approssimativo
Il movimento dei componenti non è fluido, i materiali utilizzati sono di qualità mediocre.Adatto per lavori grossolani, assolutamente non di precisione.

Form moves after setting. Cheap plastic tool
Form doesnt stay in place. If you take an impression you have to pinch the tool tight and be very careful not to tip it or move it the slightest bit. Working on a ceiling or ladder its very frustrating. Tool is cheap, worth about $10. Could be a lot more rigid and better built. Also the plastic sliders are not very long so some forms cannot be done, tool not useful. Disappointed. Tracing paper to make contours is easier, less frustrating and cheaper.
