Hi- The LPV model can get warm; how warm would depend on a few factors. The amount of load, the ambient temperature and moving air. If you're worried about heat, the HLG model comes in 100W and is a metal case design, with a 7-year warranty. -LEDSupply

In this case 720 watt would certainly be enough. A 1000w power supply would not do a better job so certainly 720 is plenty. But.. The quality of your led units matters. With lesser quality led straps your power lessens as the distance gets longer. Sooo...if you can afford the cost of quality lamps you should go that route. Do some research on the difference between the two qualities.
