About 10" from the lowest point of the neck to the bottom edge.

Q: What is the length (in inches) from the bottom of the neck to the bottom of the bib?

Around 10 inches. Very long. Too long for under 8 months! I bought it for a 6 month old and couldn't use it. Baby if 13 months now and he can use it sitting down but if the child is strong they can just pull hard enough and the Velcro comes undone and the bib comes off.

Q: Is this silicone suitable for a six-month-old baby?

Yes. I would only use it for eating purposes not teething. I hope this helps with your decision.

Q: Does the bib smell? The quality of how?

The quality is good. We’ve have them over a year. They are starting to smell a bit but I’m hoping to wash them and get it out.
