1st Place Deluxe Rosette

Just what our Art Group wanted - although it did arrive damaged.

The fair spelled my mom’s name wrong when she won first place for her awesome cookies then they gave her a lame first place STICKER. Those cheap jerks. So I got on Amazon and got her this bad boy. I tried to find one bigger, but it did the trick. It even has a pin in the back so you could wear if you really wanted to send a message. Worth the $9.

Perfect for my Halloween pig lady costume, as she paraded around with a 1st place roasted baby on a tray. It truly made the costume all it was meant to be. The rosette is large, made with good quality ribbon and clear printing. The back safety pin allows it to be fastened to fabric. The only large, 1st place ribbons at my local party store had an infantile look to them with balloons and confetti printed on them. This one is happy enough without being too kiddie-centric. I love this pin's simplicity and classic design. Funny, it was pretty much the exact thing I pictured when I first sketched the concept for my costume a few weeks prior.

First this took a while to come, over 1.5 months. Not sure what happened, but I was patient and knew that it finally would arrive. It came in a cardboard package that had the ribbon tails folded! so that a crease was on the ribbon. The gold foil printing was not stamped well and so it looked like it was already coming off the blue ribbon. Also the ribbons didn't look exactly alike. Although the same size, the printing of the lines on each side of the word "place" was different from the same ribbons in the pack. It is a deluxe ribbon, big and as pictured. Rosette is nice. I ironed the ribbon tales to get the creases out. It's a good thing I'm not that picky.

Exactly what I wanted to use as a reward for good behavior. The grandson has this hung prominently in his bedroom.

I bought this for my boss as a funny Christmas present. It was in good shape, exactly like the picture!
