The Road Back to You Study Guide Review: If you want a book that is profound and helpful in growing in self-discovery and self-awareness... - For those that don't know, the Enneagram is a personality test using a model of 9 interlocking human psyche types. Different from other tests which have separate types that don't connect. This book really makes you take a look at yourself and focuses not on what you would do but on the motivations behind your choices and also what are your strengths and weaknesses. It takes a look at where the human psyche lives on a normal day, when we're in our safe place and where we are when we're stressed/anxious and how that effects our choices & motivations. Truly wonderful idea! My only criticism is that it is labeled as a Christian book but beyond a couple comments there is not much about God, religion, scripture, etc. Should not have been labeled as such. If you want a book that is profound and helpful in growing in self-discovery and self-awareness then this is the book for you! Review: VERY INFORMATIVE - This book deals with eight different personality types. It’s probably the best book I’ve read on different peoples characters. It really helps to understand why people do the things they do and helps you not to stand in judgment of them. You won’t be disappointed and you might learn something about yourself and others. It’s got it all…the good the bad and the ugly.

Great campion to The Road Back to You
I was attracted to this book because… I wanted not only read the companion book, The Road Back To You, but also I want to understand Enneagram, this was a must read. This book was about This book is designed to be read side by side with the main book. The study guide recommends which chapters to read in the main book before each chapter in the study guide. The information in the study guide provides you additional information about each type and guides to how you would apply the information. It also provides additional thought questions for each chapter to use in a group environment. Things I liked about this book It did help me further understand what I read in the main book. Why you should read this book If you want to learn more about Enneagram’s you do need to read this book in conjunction with the main book. This book lived up to the back cover copy The back covers gives you the highlights of what you find in the book, information on both authors and several recommendations by recognizable names.

Easy to read
My girlfriends and I all in our 50’s are enjoying getting back to us. Raising our kids as three single Moms was tough . We are trying to slow down and reflect while still growing. Love this book! Great questions

This book came highly recommended for a beginner like me and just flipping through ...
I have yet to dive into the full study of Enneagrams, but hope to soon, as I find it very interesting. This book came highly recommended for a beginner like me and just flipping through it and doing a couple of the examples, seems to be very easy and informative. I think it is a good purchase.

This book is a game changer. I may or may not have gone through it 5 times now. Then passed it on to my husband to go through a few times. I would recommend it to anyone.

great book
I love this book completely. I learned so much from this book, it has really changed my interactions with others. It has allowed me to feel more compassionate with people who don't do life the way that I do. It been really helpful on my journey to be a more empathetic person. I also learned a lot about what makes me tick and how I can grow as a person.

As an Enneagram Type 1, a coach, and a leadership facilitator, The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile was both enlightening and affirming. Type 1s thrive on self-improvement, integrity, and a desire to make the world (and ourselves) better. This book provides an honest yet compassionate look at our strengths and struggles, offering practical wisdom for personal and professional growth. Cron and Stabile’s storytelling approach makes the Enneagram accessible without oversimplifying its depth. Their insights helped me recognize the inner critic that often drives Type 1s and offered ways to cultivate self-compassion. The emphasis on awareness before transformation resonated deeply—something I also stress in leadership development. Beyond Type 1, this book is invaluable for anyone in coaching or leadership. Understanding different Enneagram types enhances how we support and communicate with others, making it an essential tool for guiding teams and individuals. If you’re a perfectionist striving for growth or a leader looking to understand people more deeply, this book is a game-changer. It’s not just about knowing your number—it’s about using that knowledge to live and lead with greater authenticity and grace. Highly recommended!

Superb book. Both the main book and the study guide are amazing. They have opened my eyes to the power of the Enneagram to help me, my family, my colleagues and friends and my mentees grow. Just love it. Two of the The best books I have read and I will be reading them over and over again...and using them to transform my life.

It’s NOT the book.... only a study guide. This could be made SO much clearer in its description.
