Clear ice!
Clear ice! I have played with it. I have tried distilled water and boiled. Tap water works very good and is the easiest. I am using our camper's freezer to make the ice. (No room in the house) The water runs through a charcoal filter coming in. First pic is filling up and freezing. Second pic is letting the form sit for a couple of hours and then freezing. Third pic is the form sitting. (I think, to get the air bubbles out.....) I have had good luck with letting it sit. I have found I have to use a bottle brush on the tray about every three freezes. I get a build up on the bottom, of impurities. Easy to use with good results.

Works great. I found it simple to use.
I’m very impressed with the ice spheres it makes. Have been using it for a few weeks now. I just use tap water and the results are clear and virtually flawless. I let it warm up/defrost fully between uses and don’t leave the ice in for longer then a day before removing them to store in a freezer bag until use. Don’t have any silicon smell. I dunno. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

SEnt back unused after researching
Returned after researching as you need a temperature that your freezer is not at, to guarantee clear icecubes

Works wonderfully, clear ice at home!
Great fun making clear ice at home. Note: the ice cubes are quite large, so you will definitely need a wide glass. Make sure your glassware is large enough to fit the measurements of the cubes -- a few of our glasses are too narrow.
