My baby was diagnosed with severe CMPA. Nutramigen didn’t even work for her, so our pediatrician suggested we switch to an amino acid based formula. Best decision we ever made! She’s absolutely thriving on neocate syneo. The prebiotics and probiotics in it help as well. The only downside is that you cannot heat up the water beyond 104°F without damaging the probiotics. I wouldn’t recommend trusting a bottle warmer for this, but instead a warm water dispenser that allows you to set the water temperature exactly to 104°F or slightly lower.

This Neocate is great are baby girl had severe allergies from every formula the vomiting and diarrhea was constant for months The gastrologist tried multiple formulas with non milk based this is the only one that made her gain and maintain her Weight the hospital along with her doctors instructions placed her on this milk after months of not finding the cure of formula I truly thank God for it, once she hit a year and a half she grew out of lots of allergies including milk I used to purchase from this buyer on Amazon extra cans because sometimes most times the WIC wouldn't give the extra cans needed to fill the months supply for her

This formula has been a life saver for our son. He has been diagnosed with a severe milk protein allergy at 5 weeks and his only symptom was bloody stools. He was drinking Enfamil in the yellow can, switched to nutramigen, and then was hospitalized for Pneumotisis. He was released out of the hospital after 8 days on this formula and he no longer has bloody stools. He drinks and keeps it down well and he is almost 3 months old. Would definitely recommend this formula for GI issues and milk allergies. I wish I could find a store that sold in but so far we have had to order every time. I love that it is free shipping on here as well.

Ordered the 4 pack of cans for $198 and ALL four came dented and cannot be used. Very unfortunate because of how expensive these are and I can’t even donate them if I wanted to because of the dents.

Neocate is awesome. We went through 5 other formulas trying to find one that our baby could tolerate and finally this worked. It’s definitely not cheap but is definitely worth it. It tastes pretty bitter but baby got used to it quickly and likes it now. Delivery is usually very fast too.

This formula has been working well for us. I’m just annoyed that I have to buy it from nutrica via amazon because buying the exact same product direct from their company requires jumping through all sorts of hoops like providing a doctors note.The formula itself is a very fine powder. It doesn’t have any of the stickiness of regular formulas. It measures easily (one ounce at a time which I prefer to the huge two ounce scoops in other formulas).I know they’re trying to make it as allergen free as possible but why the corn syrup as the carbohydrate? I can understand not using lactose (which is the carbohydrate in breast milk and what I would prefer) but can’t they use something besides corn syrup solids? Even table sugar would be an improvement. Corn free hypoallergenic formulas are nearly impossible to find and don’t exist among the elemental formulas.

This formula has been very helpful for my daughter, but it's difficult to recommend it because it is a medical product that should only be used as directed by a doctor. My daughter had severe skin reactions from using regular and even hypoallergenic formulas, so we took her to see an allergist. She recommended we try Neocate and it's prime competitor Elecare. After using both, we saw significantly better results from the Neocate. This may not be the case for your child though. Again, please only use with medical supervision as recommended by the manufacturer. See the attached screenshot from their website.

Our baby was having a hard time with every type of formula we tried. Finally read about this and tried it. Took a couple of weeks to adjust from alimentum, but when he did... he was the perfect baby. No gas, no bloating, daily bowel movement, no more rashes, no more screaming from gas and gerd etc. I highly suggest this. 1/2 regular and 1/2 syneo. Otherwise he sharted every 20 minutes. Our insurance company now helps us and covers it. A doctor must diagnose your little one first, in order for it to be covered. Good luck. (Mom of 3)
