Baby Banz Retro Oval Baby Sunglasses - 0-24 Months – 100% UV Eye Protection

I ordered for my granddaughter and they fit her. They just made a rub mark on her nose where they sit. Haven’t tried them again but will now that summer is almost here.

I'm not sure why it's difficult to add more/longer velcros to fit smaller babies.

Breakdown of how I rate:*1 star – Please don’t waste your money this thing really isn’t worth the hassle of opening the package it came in**2 stars – meh, I mean it was worth opening the box and its okayish for now but there’s a good chance that this thing is going to end up returned or, if I keep it, in the trash eventually***3 stars – ok, here’s where we get to the don’t love it don’t hate it part. This generally means it’s an okay product and it will serve its purpose but it’s really lacking something****4 stars – This thing is great! Has all the features I am looking for at a great price (talking about the full product price) and I will definitely be putting this thing to great use!*****5 stars – HOW DID I EVER LIVE WITHOUT THIS!!! Okay so maybe it’s not that serious but really, this thing gets daily use in my home with 2 adults, 2 kids, and a large housedog. It’s worth every penny paid and possibly more and there’s a pretty good chance I have already ordered a spare to keep on hand just in case!My daughter was diagnosed with esotropia and I ordered two pairs of these (one white one black) the same day. She was 6 months old at the time and the fit is great and the band is adjustable. With her being so young the took some getting used to but she decided she would rather put up with something on her face than to have the sun in her little eyes all the time. She will be having corrective surgery in a week and I know she will NEED these sunglasses afterward to help protect her sore eyes. As far as looks go, this retro style looks just like the sunglasses I wear so she matches mommy!

Pro: coverage beyond the shape of the eye and strap material soft/squishy like beer koozie with wide coverage for total comfortCon: difficult pairing with sun had due to size, strap bows upper part of the ears out to do with of strap and rigges on plastic, that keep glasses out of eye, make impressions on my babes forehead (in between eyebrows) that cause discomfort no matter how loose I make the strap.

It is a great product to protect your baby's eyes. I like it for my baby and yes per other reviews it does leave a red line around the frame but it goes away after a few minutes. As long as I don't see any rash or something terribly bad for her skin, I am ok. I wish, that the velcro was the new type that doesn't make scary sound. A lot of time she sleeps after the walk and I have to take the sun glasses off after we come inside the house. Just slipping off and on works but sometimes I have to undo the velcro and I wish the company will start using the newer type of the velcro where it is still very strong but makes less scary sounds for the baby. Otherwise these are great. It is surprising how many people do not know about these. we went for a fair and our baby was wearing them. 1. She got a LOT of compliments. 2. so many people asked us about them and said that they would love these for babies in their family....our baby doesn't take them off or is bothered by them so, so far so good.

The glasses I received were solid pink rather than the camo shown, but I like the solid color better. The strap was a little big for my six month old, but the Velcro is long enough that I just left the end of it hanging loose. She'll be able to wear it for the next couple of years.She didn't much appreciate me putting the glasses on her, but once they were on she seemed to forget they were there. The only flaw was that the strap would slip off the back of her head if she rolled around a lot. A split strap like you sometimes see on swim goggles would eliminate the problem; I might try it myself and see how it goes.All in all, great glasses. They stayed on all afternoon, they were comfortable enough that baby ignored them, and the adjustable strap means they'll last us a long time. Four stars!

My daughter is 16 months old and has an average-sized head. I ordered the Retro Banz in the size for 0-24 months. The frame of the glasses fits her face just fine and looks good, but the neoprene (reminds me of wetsuit material, so it'll probably float the glasses up if they fall off in a pool) goes right over her ears so it looks odd, pressing her ears against the side of her head. We've also tried putting the side straps over her ears the way regular glasses are worn, but the straps are so thick that they come down and fold the top half of her ear(s) down. I can't figure out how to position it so it doesn't do that. We've tried pulling the back of the band high up on her head, and tried lowering it to below her skull above her neck. Putting it above makes the glasses easy to fall off, but the straps really aren't long enough to have it sit underneath her skull, and plus that latter position pulls the top soft cartilage of her ears down again. Speaking of the straps not being long enough, we've got the velcro adjusted to as far out as it will go to still hang on, and the glasses frame still leaves a deep groove between her eyebrows and two smaller grooves from the nose pieces on either side of her nose under her eyes.

Though the product looks great in picture, but in real life they just look cheap. I strongly believe they are not wort AUD $23.

Die Brille hilft unserer Kleinen an grellen sonnigen Tagen hervorragend ihre Augen zu entspannen. Bei unvermeidbarem Licht wird in Sekunden wieder gechillt. Das Gestell ist um die Nasenpartie etwas zu flach und kantig, so dass die Brille nicht all zu lange getragen werden sollte, sonst kann es zu Abdrücken auf der Stirn und der Nase kommen. Ein Optiker kann hier vielleicht helfen. Das Neoprenband lässt sich leicht einstellen und hält auch noch bei minimaler Spannung. Für den etwas sub-optimalen Tragekomfort gibt es einen Stern Abzug.Diese Sonnenbrille ein tolles Helferlein und vor allem ein Hingucker in jeder Situation.

Da Caps gegen die blendende Sonne kaum halfen, haben wir diese Sonnenbrille gekauft.Sie sitzt super (derzeit 46cm Kopfumfang), stört den kleinen nicht und sieht super aus.Man kann sie einfach und weiter stellen, ich glaube aber, dass der Kopf nicht viel kleiner sein sollte für einen guten Sitz über den Augen.Auf Grund der anderen Rezensionen sind wir beim Auf- und Absetzten sowie reinigen sehr achtsam, da ich mir auch gut vorstellen kann, dass sie leicht bricht.Für den Preis mehr als zufriedenstellend.

Also die Brille ist vorne gut gummiert und machte an sich einen guten Eindruck. Leider kam die Brille defekt bei uns an. Es scheint so als wäre das Glas etwas zu gross für den Rahmen.Schade da ich sie gerne benutzt hätte. Mein Kind hat schon den Baby banz Ohrenschutz und die Marke gefällt mir eigentlich.Also ich bin bei dieser Sonnenbrille misstrauisch und würde sie nicht weiter empfehlen

The band to hold the glasses on doesn't go tight enough for a baby (1 year old's head) so she can easily pull them off. when I am able to get to stay on by pulling it tight, they glasses leave irritation marks on her nose, and around the bottom of her eyes, luckily the nose piece is soft rubber, but either way I don't imagine its very comfortable for her. Maybe will be better when shes a bit older and understands to leave them on? I do like that they fit to the curve of her face to not allow sun to enter through the sides though!
