My doctor recommended this probiotic, along with Saccharomyces, during my long-term antibiotic treatment. Even after 6 solid months on 4 different types of antibiotics, I had almost NO lower GI issues at all! My dose was 2 pills, three times a day, with 2 Saccharomyces pills at lunch as well. Well worth the price, though lets be honest, I'd love for them to be cheaper.I didn't refrigerate the bottle, but did watch the tracking like a hawk so I could pull it out of the mailbox quickly before it sat in the sun. Just to be safe, you might want to order more in the cooler months to last through the summer, if you're able to plan ahead like that.The pills are about the size of a standard multivitamin, so most people shouldn't have trouble taking them.

In my opinion, the only probiotic that works!!!

My doctor suggested this probiotic to me for antibiotic use. The probiotics really disrupted my GI track, extreme bloating, extreme brain fog, pain, fatigue, and insomnia. I really like this company though and trust their products but I don't think this was a good fit for me. For future buyers, I was lactose intolerant as a child and still had diarrhea for years after cutting out diary, possible Mast Cell Activation, but I'm pretty sure I don't do well with probiotics containing lactobacillus.

Easily tolerated without undue digestive issues.
