This arrives really strangely packaged.There is a cardboard base measuring approx 18cm x 13.5cm x mostly 2.5cm.The items contained in the set are set out displayed mostly on the picnic table & sealed in place with moulded plastic packaging so it's 12cm high at the highest point.The two fabric seat pads are just attached to the cardboard base but not actually covered by anything.It looks nice but it would be really awkward to wrap so probably best put in a gift bag.Unpacking this, you get the picnic table, a small tablecloth, 2 fabric seat pads, a hexagonal tray with gold sides & a pink base, a small book which has real blank pages (one side says explore nature in English, the other says the same thing in French) the picnic basket, a small lantern (which looks like it should open but I couldn't figure it out so I guess not), a bunch of flowers fixed in a pot, 2 plates, 2 glasses, a bowl of salad & 2 salad servers, a cheeseboard & a wheel of cheese, a packet of mixed nuts, 2 salad subs, a pineapple, a bunch of bananas & an apple.The picnic basket has a hinged lid, hinged handles & there are 2 sets of a gold knife, fork & spoon in pockets in the lid which can be taken out & used.You cannot fit all of the picnic items into the basket at the same time & it doesn't have a catch.I got all the small bits in it though.All the images of this range of dolls show them sitting easily with their legs close together.I have 3 Lori dolls & none of them can do that, they spread their legs pretty wide when sitting down.I was able to get one sat on one side of the table, with her shoes basically resting on the side struts, then another on the other side with one leg under the table & the other sticking out to the side.I couldn't reasonably get 2 dolls on the same side of the table so this is definitely for a picnic for 2.I do really like this range of Lori accessories but the packaging is odd for this one & overall I do think they use WAY too much packaging in their sets.

This is a fab play set and definitely value for money – there are so many accessories! It reminded me of my Sylvanian families sets – just with dolls and slightly bigger. If you have playsets of a similar size, like Barbie and Chelsea, this works just as well alongside them.This toy is beautifully presented, ready to gift straight away. However, like so many toys, there was too much plastic moulding packaging. At a time when we should be using sustainable options, this tricky packaging was very disappointing. Scissors and patience are required to hack into this gift set – be careful of the smaller parts pinging away and never to be found again!The accessories are lovely and really good quality. As they are quite small and fiddly, I think children of 5 years and upwards would appreciate this set, especially because they can take enjoyment from setting up the picnic properly.All of the features are cute and feel well made. However, due to the type of box, you do need to find a new storage box to keep all the bits together. There is a lot of attention to detail with the accessories and I particularly like blank nature book that is inevitably going to have scrawls added in to it! The pink wine glasses were sticky on the bottom when removed from the packaging. Whilst this may not be deliberate, it has certainly helped with standing them up on the sturdy picnic table.Ideal to accompany the dolls in this range or similar, small ones, this is a great gift set and has proven very popular with my daughters. However, it is let down by the difficult plastic packaging.

This is a great addition to any Lori doll opening up a wealth of possibilities. The accessories come well packaged in bright pink packaging. This set's theme is all picnic accessories. The accessories are all high quality and the only limitations are only the imaginations of the kids playing with them.

This is a lovely little set. The details on the little pieces are great. My daughter loves these sets. Really well made and feel like they will last well. Great value for money.

I like the items here, as each piece is really detailed and really well made. Just a pity everything doesn't fit in the picnic basket! Need a bigger basket! The book is a nice touch, as my daughter has drawn in it for her dolls, bless ha.Overall I thoroughly recommend this dolls picnic set, as it is great value and really well made. Not just for Lori, will work well with other smaller dolls too.
