Handsome Devil: An Enemies-to-Lovers Billionaire Romance (Vancity Villains)

great series of books
Actually read this one last, but it didnāt detract from the other stories in this series (vancity villains) loved these books and how the characters mingle with all the characters from the Dirty series and the Players stories. All of them have great characters and a good storyline with funny and thrawn characters.

Handsome Devil (with a few too many details)
Ok I wasn't sure what to rate this book but went with 4 not 3ā's because of the strong finish. I almost didn't make it there because the first third of the book was way too drawn out for me. The beginning was good but then there was just too much about not a lot. I was tempted to skim a lot after 15 or 20% of the way in and almost packed in a few times, it could and should be edited down a bit and it would be much punchier. Then again a few things which I'd have thought would be in, like meeting Devil's family was missing, that would have been more interesting than every day at the office in minutiae. I loved the back and forth office emails though - funny. When she did the "slapped arse, good boy" Payback thing, it cracked me up, I totally lol'd, strait up heroine there! It was an intricate dance between them and I liked that she didn't fall immediately and they lived HEA in no time, that does me in. Though it got a bit bogged down earlier on, at times, around half way, I couldn't put it down and in the end it was a good read but you need to hang in, I'm glad I did, it was worth it, especially the wings, great imagery there. Loved the sub plots and banter a bit mystery and how you never know what's going on underneath anyone's exterior! I'll try another in the series and hope the details aren't kept for the last half of that one. Recommend (but could skip a bit once the scene is set)

DEVILISHLY BRILLIANT šā¤ļøš„ A MUST READ!!!
Another BRILLIANT book by the fabulous Jaine Diamond.Iāve now been on a reading marathon of Jaineās books for a couple of weeks. I even bought a couple of them in audio format, even though I already had them on my kindle, as I really need to get things done but couldnāt stop reading. š YES, HER BOOKS ARE THAT GOOD!!! Iāve only got 2 more books of hers to read/listen to now then Iāve read them all (that I know of).So far, all the stories have links to the other books, but they are completely standalone. Yay! Thatās always a plus for me, because I donāt like reading books that donāt finish. I want the full story and not be coerced into having to buy more books unless I want to. Jaine also gives free Bonus epilogues if you sign up to her newsletters. A nice touch! Thanks Jaine. The books are very well written and the stories and characters are superb. There were also no grammatical errors or typos, another bugbear of mine. Iām fussy like that and sadly it spoils a book if itās sloppy. Just saying. Rest assured, all books were error free ā¦.. or just too bloody good that I didnāt noticeš There are lots of well written steamy bits too šššš¶š„š enough to satisfy any reader of this genre. They are based around Vancouver, BC and so good were her stories, I am planning to make my first visit to Canada to visit this amazing city and itās fabulous surrounding natural environment.YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED and are an idiot if you donāt read her books šā¤ļøšš

Hating someone has never been so hot!
"The Devil rolled into town and Everything went straight to hell..."Finally we get Devi's HEA and yes! she gets thoroughly Hot And Bothered by Dane Davenport, her own personal Devil.Story Goes, Dane is the hotshot Rich kid with a "better than you" chip on his shoulder and Devi's the new girl in school with a "couldn't give a flying fbomb" attitude. They take and instant dislike in each other. Fast forward a few years and Devi and Dane meet again and once again fireworks fly!I always enjoy Jaine Diamond's books and this one is no exception. I really enjoyed seeing into Devi's life and Dane was certainly and interesting character to meet. As always, with Jaine's books the back story and subplot is as captivating as the Romance and for Dirty Fans, We even find out a little more about Lex.The Romance was pretty hot and steamy. Its starts off with a real "Love to Hate you" thing going on between them with a few lovely emotional moments. In fact I actually got a little tearful at one point.Even though this book stepped away from my favourite Rockstar theme, I found it an enjoyable read and it introduced some very interesting Badboys that I cannot wait to see again.

What a fun ride
I read this book first and then went back and read the Dirty and Players series after.I wish Iād read them in order because this world is filled with such intricate (and fun) characters.Devi has been in order books as the BFF of Katie (from the first Dirty book) and by reading things out of order there are some minor reveals in this book because even though it is a different series it is ultimately based in the same world but later down the line. All books in all three series are great so I would recommend that you read the Dirty series first, then the Players and then the Vancity Villains so you can get the most enjoyment out of the books. If you decide not to (like I mistakenly did) then you will still enjoy this book. The plot is intricate and well thought out and the world in which they live is described clearly but not OTT so it makes the story more vibrant. Devi and Dane are great characters that are fun, a little bit wild but very likeable and you do want them to get together.I would highly recommend this book.

Mixed thoughts
I loved the main characters I felt they both portrayed the complex nature of their chemistry and this was strong. I then started to lose interest in them when it all got a little repetative. I wanted more development. I wanted Dane to be stronger in parts and was frustrated guy is disappearing act. Why could be not take Devi with him? I felt it was selfish and really put me off them. I wanted Devi to not need him and not take him back on his return.

wow š®āšØ
I didnāt have great expectations going into this book. Iāve been in a book slump and WHOA!!! This was exactly what I needed!Very real enemies to lovers with a strong FMC that doesnāt let a nice face sway her in her feelings! And Dane was dreamy so ya know, thereās that š¤£I really did enjoy this read! I loved the part where sheās afraid and her sketchy friends helpā¦itās like mafia amazingness but not šSo good! I want to know more about Lex and Shaneā¦not sure how I feel about out Johnny though! Who knows maybe my feelings will change on that. On to the next!
