I have a 2020 Bullfrog spa. These filters fit great no matter what other reviews say. I'm guessing other reviewers don't know how to install them. The narrow opening goes up. The wider opening goes down. You can see a little notch on the bottom side of the filter AND when looking into the hot tub where the bottom of the filter seals. Line them up. It takes a little finesse to feel when they're lined up when the filter won't spin. You may feel the top move a little...but the bottom won't spin because the notch is "locked". Then thread the top cap in...but not too tightly! Another reviewer posted pictures with his old filters...as well as the new...with bent pleating. Looks to me like he cranks the caps on the top of his filters too tightly...since his factory filters exhibit the same issue. These filters are working great for me.

Fit my Bullfrog A8 spa like original filters so install is a breeze. These filters are thinner than the OEM's but work just as well and not to my surprise easier to clean with more flexibility between coils. Finding or shipping the originals can be a bother sometimes but these are excellent alternatives.

Bullfrog A7L spa requires two filters. Each filter has a notch at the top and bottom surface which mates with a long vertical tab on the mounting cage installed in the spa. But this set of Guardian filters has no notches at all. Instead, there is a depression on the bottom surface where the notch should be, and this depression will ‘sort of’ engage with the little locking lever tab at the cage bottom. But this design is not as secure as the factory recommended filter which has a full notch in both the top and bottom surfaces. Also, there is a very slight gap across from the depression where the surface does not exactly mate with the cage surface.I’ve changed my original review which said this Guardian filter will not fit. I was wrong. It does fit, just not as securely or as flush as the manufacturer recommended filter. However, the Guardian is significantly cheaper, which is a plus.So I’m keeping these filters and will try them out long term. My prior manufacturer recommended filters seemed ok after 1 year in the hot tub (I removed them monthly for a good cleaning). We’ll see whether these Guardian filters last as long.
