Ancient Giants of the Americas: Suppressed Evidence and the Hidden History of a Lost Race

"Somewhat Interesting"
This is a somewhat generalized collection of newspaper "snippets" lacking source and date labels. These absences are somewhat covered in the brief accompanying statements by the author though not for every entry. Hardly a "professional" treatise of the topic but interesting, nonetheless. Sadly, it is sorely lacking in a multitude of photographs which is probably not through any neglect by the author. Such records are seemingly near impossible to obtain. Still, a more thorough and accurate labeling of the journalistic entries should have been included. Moreover, infrequent deviations into hyperbolic phrasing should have been avoided and/or edited out. This is really not a definitive source of finely referenced findings but, rather, a brief and cursory introduction to the topic in a very generalized format. I sincerely dislike down-playing anyone's literary accomplishment, but this work is not a definitive history of this worthwhile topic.

This guy doesn't understand what evolution is...
This book is very interesting and I think it's useful for the fact that the author collated a lot of articles about the discovery of giant bones, saving anyone interested in the topic a lot of time. But... He's very clearly decided from the outset that evolution isn't real and then set out to prove it, a very silly way to approach any question. Deciding your answer and then gathering evidence around it sounds a lot like the mainstream academics he despises so much. The other thing is, he repeatedly makes reference to the theory of evolution being "disproved once and for all" by the discovery of a giant skeleton, which makes zero sense. The discovery of wooly-mammoth skeletons didn't "disprove" evolution, it just revised our understanding of how everything fits together.Weirdly enough, he states right in the beginning that if giants are real, evolution has to be false... and then proceeds to list all of the hominid and homo genus skeletons that have been found... Interesting that the author doesn't feel that those "disprove" evolution. If giants did exist, and I believe they did, as does the author, and his book full of evidence supports this, it by no means indicates that the theory of evolution is a lie. It just means that our understanding of things needs to be adjusted. Very weird.

A Short, Informative Book
A short but highly informative book concerning the remains of giant-size humans who onced roamed the Americas. The author gives a detailed history of the legends passed down over the centuries by tribes of natives who encountered these giants. As usual, any bones unearthed & sent to the Smithsonian end up disappearing into the twilight zone. Well-illustrated & easy to read.

Great background on some of the archaeological finds on giants ...
Great background on some of the archaeological finds on giants and pin points that a lot of the disappearances of these bones were collected by one establishment, the Smithsonian. It is wonderful background for anyone seeking some of the basics when it comes to our history, giants, and how they are related to the biblical viewpoint.
