I have an old Snapper mower that somebody put a commercial Honda motor on, so I'm never quite sure what was changed when the previous owner swapped motors. I have an old owners manual that I got online that appears to be my mower. I pulled a part number (7012354) from there and came up with this belt which replaces that part number. I recently attempted the install and this one is clearly too long...the drive wheels don't engage. Problem is, the belt broke late in summer around the time I usually let the lawn go for the winter and I can't find the broken one to measure it. Oh well...this belt is made in china FYI...but appears to be good quality. My search goes on.***UPDATE 1/26/13***Unable to find shorter belts for the Snapper mowers I called a local shop and talked to them. I learned of a way to adjust the drive linkage (the one that is engaged when you squeeze the right side lever on the handle.) The spring near the bottom is actually a spring threaded inside an outer spring...an unusual set up. So I was able to adjust it until I think the belt will be fine. I still wish I had the old belt to measure, as I would think the old one would be looser than the new one.
