I spend a lot of time outside, and this summer there have been a lot of flies, as well as the mosquitoes and other flying critter at dusk and into the evening. I do so much 'waving' my hand around to fight off bugs, I thought I'd try these to eliminate the bugs with the same wave.After a quick charge with the USB cable, I put them to the test, and these things work. There is a very satisfying spark and 'pop' as the unfortunate flying critter meets its demise. To operate, you turn on the main power switch, then press the larger button when swiping to energize the grid. (You have to press the energize button while swiping).There is also a small LED light, and the instructions say to turn on the switch for that, and then the light will come on when the energize button is pressed. That is not the case...turning the light switch on turns on the light immediately, and it stays on, regardless of whether the energize button is pressed. So I don't use the light function, as it would stay on and eat up the batteries faster. So that function is useless to me, and really I'm not sure there is much point to the light anyway. Maybe in total darkness it might help to see the critters before whacking them.I liked that this is a two-pack, it's handy to have a second one for another person.Just got these and they work well, I will update if necessary if there are any longevity issues, but so far so good.

I love this swatter to get rid of flies. Don't be tempted to use it until it is fully charged because it doesn't work. Fully charged, this swatter will take flies right out of the air.

Product is great! USB charges so no wasting batteries. It also has an optional light on it.

Seem well made. Worked well on wasps (when you can trap them under it, often on a dinner plate) the past summer.

Bought these for camping because they were a smaller size and and rechargeable. I wouldn't say they are compact, but they are a little smaller than most I've seen. There is a switch to turn a small light on or off and a switch for turning the unit on and off and a button for the zap. Works well and sure zaps when you get a mosquito. Zapped deer and horse flies, too. Charged quickly using USB. Really happy, so far!

We last bought one of these Zap It fly killers just before Covid and so its had four years of use. It’s great for zapping flies quickly. Our old one still works but we noticed it’s not quite as accurate as it used to be, probably from four years of use and being banged against walls and tables in the pursuit of flies etc. We bought this double pack as a replacement so we can keep one upstairs and one downstairs. Haven’t issued them yet but have no reason to doubt they will be as good as the last one.

So far it's doing the job. It's more powerful than the battery operated ones and does make a loud zap when you make contact.
