Cutting to the chase:My advice, keep away. This in NO way resembles the effectiveness of the old Zantac.Full review:I was happy to see that Zantac was back because nothing ever worked so well for me than Zantac 150mg twice a day.What I am taking now doesn't completely work. I switched over to this and took the dose in the evening. I did notice the change in pill shape but I thought that maybe they have less fillers now. I never thought for a second that it wouldn't work. A few hours later, I could feel the burning in my lower esophagus. I immediately switched back to what I was taking and took a dose since the Zantac clearly failed me. No less than 30min later, the burning was gone.

First, it's cheap because the expiration date is 04/2024. Second, the product is ineffective. I took 1 tablet 4 hours ago and I am still feeling heartburn. Going back to Pepcid AC

Product is effective and economical with updated formula equivalent to Pepsid extra strength. My 89 year old mother found the cubical shape catches in her throat. We've switched back to Pepsid.
