I have to admit I was Smitten with Smitten!
This is a darling book for the romantic at heart ... I loved how all 3 authors seemlessly intertwined their stories together and kept all 4 (and 1 special little girl that has a lot of faith)of the main characters alive throughout the book ... I loved following their lives. This is a story of a town that the mill that keeps this little town alive shuts down suddenly and of a town that pulls together to keep it alive. Now, that is not saying that everyone is in agreement with how to make it work ... the men think some of the women have lost their minds ... but the women stand strong and eventually (of course) win them over, one by one ... each story is different but very warm and endearing ... of course, some were deeper and a bit more interesting than others but each one kept me going and wanting more ... a great story and I look very forward to the next book next year with the continuation of Smitten.

A fun read that leaves me smitten with Smitten!
Smitten is a tale in which four authors who are friends have each written a segment of the story. Each author taking one of the four friends in the book as their main character and continuing the tale. Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt, and Denise Hunter are all real life friends and authors. This was such a fun read! Perfect for a beach day or any where... I really enjoyed each story within the story and all of the characters! I am "smitten" and can't wait for book 2!

Smitten by smitten!
I have had this book for several years and I don't know why it took me so long to read this delightful story! It is 4 novellas that build on each other told by 4 different authors about 4 different friends. It was masterfully done and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Sweet, inspirational romance at its best! Highly recommend!!

Smitten- Ok
I read Smitten awhile ago but didn't have time to sit down a write a review at the time. I will say that two of the authors are on my most read list, Hunter and Coble. I have never read Diann Hunt and only one other book of Kristen Billerbeck. I liked the book but like most I felt like all the stories were rushed. I think this would have been a great series had written a book under the series. It would have given us time to get to know the characters and understand their lives a little better. I enjoyed each story but would have relished in the time to get to know they so that I could understand them better as Im sure we will see them in the next Smitten book. I think that if you are looking for a fun fast read this is perfect but if you are an avid reader and want more of out of the story then you probably wont get it here.
