Melissa & Doug Scratch Art Bookmark Party Pack Activity Kit - 12 Bookmarks

So I got these two give out of my son school for his birthday because we're not allowed to bring sweets. They're pretty cute and everything's straightforward. I like them because they're one of the only ones I saw that had enough sticks for every single one. Most of the other scratch art stuff would have about 20 pages but only four sticks so you couldn't really hand them out as party favors. It would be nicer of the book mark itself was a little bit thicker. They feel sort of flimsy but for the most part they're fine. You also have to be kind of careful when you're putting the ribbon through because your nails could scratch the black part and the color will show through. that's actually the reason I ended up putting them in bags and taping the sticks to the back because I was worried if I just put them all together they would scratch before the kids would have a chance to actually get them. All in all for the price I would recommend it especially if you're going to just do the craft at the party.

I was searching for a craft for my daughter's art themed birthday party and came across these scratch off bookmarks. We needed a couple dozen of something for a craft for an affordable price and this fit perfectly. We had the kids do a painting craft first and when they finished, we handed out the bookmarks. The kids went bonkers when I pulled them out and had a blast making their own creations. This product is really cool. It is a rainbow paper covered with some sort of black scratch off stuff. Included is a wooden stylus for each of the bookmarks that the kids use to scratch off the black covering in the spots they want the rainbow paper to show. We had some kids doing their names, others were drawing pictures, and a few did some designs. They were all so unique and the rainbow backing contrasting with the black makes it really stand out. Also included in the package was a ribbon to put on the top to complete the bookmark. The kids we had at our party really enjoyed these, I would definitely buy these again.

I bought 2 sets of these at the last minute before my daughter’s 1st birthday party and put them out with a sign for guests to make one to keep or give to the birthday girl, not knowing if anyone would. They were a HUGE hit!! Everyone from 7 years old to aunts and uncles and grandparents absolutely LOVED scratching off to make fun designs and special bookmarks, it was a wonderful, simple, fun addition and I’m SO glad we bought them!! Once people tried it they wanted to make more, wish I had bought twice as many!!

I used these as party favors. Kids enjoyed them. One big thing (if using as party favors), they are not individually wrapped or fully set up. So if using as favors, you will have to set each up (attach ribbon and stick to bookmark) before distributing. Stick has a sharp, pointy tip and may not be suitable for younger kids (under 5).

I only needed a couple of bookmarks, but all the packs came with so many. As it turns out, I wish I had gotten a bigger pack! My 6 year old daughter loved making all of them and wanted even more. Turned into a great art projects. I even wanted to make them myself!

I was looking for something to get my oldest daughter as a stocking stuffer that could be used- these were perfect! She loves to read, do arts and crafts, make things, etc. This was right up her alley! She has already made a couple for different books she has going now. My students loved these bookmarks. They made beautiful designs to show their creative side. I used clear book tape to laminate the top so that the designs stayed permanent and students carved their names on them. Great activity for any large group.

Fantastic birthday party craft idea. Easy to use all the kids loved them and a great take home piece that can be resisted and is actually useful. Also a good gifting idea for the kids to give family members.

I bought this to use for prizes at a birthday party. Was a great hit with girls or all ages. Boys not so much. Would be great gift for birthday party swag bags.

I bought these as a welcome back to school activity. My students really liked them. I’m rating these 4 stars because you will need to laminate the bookmarks once made. If not, the creative scratch will rub off. Also found the ribbon too small. All in all, I will purchase again.
