Logitech Keyboard Cover

This skin fits very well, and is easy to install. It does not affect typing, and should protect you from all kinds of accidents that could easily ruin your expensive hardware. I didn't rate Durability, as I've not had it long enough to form an opinion on that yet, but I do recommend this for your K860 keyboard.Had I purchased this product the first time I bought the keyboard, I'd have not had to buy a second K860.3/3/23 Update!The wayward kitty struck again. She threw up on my keyboard, but this time, no disaster and no replacement $100 + keyboard. The skin served its purpose and completely protected the keyboard. A bit of care was needed of course, to prevent spilling the mess, but after a quick wash and dry, it's good to go.For those of you wondering about my kitty, she has a few internal issues from birth, and sadly, nothing can be done. So, I have to be very careful what I feed her, and what treats she gets. Even so, she throws up easily and often.

This fits the keyboard and protects it well - so far no issues typing or with tackiness. As others have noted, the caps lock key “window” is slightly different from the light on the caps lock key, but that is not a dealbreaker here. You can see the caps lock light/alignment in one of the photos.

This requirement is the force that kept me using only the Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard from 2005 thru 2023 at both work and at home, so that my fingers would know where the keys are.I found that the DAMMOMKO, CASEDAO, and CaseBuy covers were all 100% identical. The only way to tell the difference was by the printing on the sheet of paper inside the clear plastic sleeve. These are probably the better bet for those that look at their keyboard or those that find the printing on their keys has worn off and want to see which key is which.I found that using the JuYuish cover gave me the fewest mis-types for the keys that I never look at the keyboard to use, but not by a huge amount compared to the others. By mis-types, I mean that I hit the key hard enough to register without a cover, but the cover kept it from registering.However, for those rare instances where I DO look at the keyboard to make sure I am about to hit the correct key, I find that the translucent cover makes it more difficult to see which key is which. But it is worth noting that I work in very low light conditions to make it easier to see the monitors. When I turn the overhead lights on, this issue goes away (tho again, compared to the others, it is still takes a half second longer to tell which key is which). My best guess for why there is a difference is that whatever is used to make the key tops black with lettering on the others is keeping it from sticking to the top of the keys. On this JuYish keyboard cover, all of the frequently used keys are clearly sticking to the keycaps of the underlying keyboard giving nearly the same response as hitting the key without the cover. Maybe using something to adhere each key to the cover would help. This sticking effect also highlights which keys I use the most and gives immediate credence to why the QWERTY keyboard layout was created and why it has stuck around for so long.I am keeping the JuYuish cover on my keyboard for now and one of the others as a backup and returning the remaining two (whichever two give me the biggest refund at Amazon.com)Accuracy is key for me and on the rare occurrence I do look at the keyboard, just seeing the physical layout is enough for me. An opaque keyboard cover with no keycap letters would be even better for me if it did not increase my typing error rate.I would probably buy one that used a removable adhesive on the underside to keep each key cap in contact with the cover at all times and to the base keyboard as well to keep it down. Maybe I will research spray adhesives?I think in the end, I will just buy a new keyboard and stop using a cover in order to get my accuracy back closer to 100%. Actually, make that several of them because finding replacement Microsoft 4000 keyboards every time I broke one became more and more difficult as the years went by.

The cover fits the Logitech K860 keyboard perfectly — snug, soft, and it does a great job keeping dust and crumbs out. Typing still feels comfortable, and I really liked how it gave the keyboard a bit of grip without affecting my speed.That said, several of the printed letters completely disappeared within a few months of regular use. I’m talking keys like E, A, and S — just totally gone. I ended up buying a second one because I liked the protection, but honestly, for the price, I expected better durability. It’s good while it lasts… just don’t expect it to last forever.

After spilling coffee on my previous keyboard and getting a more expensive one, I wanted to protect it from ME! LOL This skin is very nice and it clings to the keyboard with no issues. It muffles my loud nails on the keys. Actually, this will protect the painted letters on the keys from being scratched off by my nails. I love the product so much, I 'm buying a 2nd one for my office. :)

The cover itself fits the keyboard, and does not obstruct the use of the keys too much. So I grant it two stars based on those very low expectations.However, they really didn't think through the design. The bottom lip doesn't even sit or cover the space bar properly, and would likely catch and trap debris or liquids, defeating the purpose of having this cover.The tactile feel of the silicone cover DOES affect the typing experience negatively, as the cover itself is very thin and mushy. Worse yet, it deforms and shifts around slightly as you type, and takes away from the overall experience.Worst yet, you can tell that the QA is typical of Chinese-made goods, as they don't even bother to do basic visual inspections. The printed type isn't even properly aligned. The page-up and page-down type fonts are also inconsistent. The letter a on page-down, is not the same as the others.Yes, these are details, but they are also low-hanging fruits and are very telling of the overall dedication to quality and standard that the factory holds itself to. I will be returning this.

This just lays across my board. I often forget it is there but it keeps all those pesky little pieces of dust and things out of my keyboard! Where has this been all my life?
