A Scholarly Work.
This is a very fine attempt by the author to pen about the personality on whom little has been written by Western authors.Overall this is a compelling read and a fairly comprehensive socio-political analysis of the Middle East region. I highly recommend reading this biography.

Book Needs a map of Arabia and a glossary of persons names and roles
A good historical read. Just clunky not to have a map. And it's difficult to keep all the Arabic characters straight

King Faisal - He was a man above all others - The world did not deserve him, none of us did. He was gift.
Excellent Reading. One of the greatest kings that ever lived. The information is enticing and like the author states himself, he tried to make everything exact as he could.I recommend purchasing this book for your own library and research. I myself wish King Faisal was amongst us today.You won't be disappointed with the literature.
