The outer sleeve has an opening on one side. I have mine inserted so I can slide the album out while leaving the outer sleeve intact on my album cover/sleeve. Some folks choose to rotate the outer sleeve so the open end of their album sleeve is protected from dust. I prefer the easier access. **Q: How perfect of a fit are these sleeves for most vinyl?
