No chance. It's on a wipe, like alcohol wipes. Also used it on the camera lens. Love this stuff! Leaves the screen smooth, no ridges, and is highly scratch resistant.

Would this work for plastic eyeglasses? if not which product would you recommend?

I don't think this product is recommended for plastic eyeglasses. Something more appropriate for that would be a liquid lens protector scratch resistant coating product. There are quite a few of those in Amazon.
