LED SNIPS

This is another one of them products on amazon that deserves one of my, hard to earn, 5-Star rating. I have purchased multiple pairs of these snips, and they work Great. Meaning, they cut through Braid and also cut the line around the hook using a Snell Knot. Although my experiences are from great lake fishing on 20lb. or less fishing line. So I cannot honestly comment on heavier applications, like Saltwater fishing. But it is a nice product to cut line, like butter. I accidentally purchased the "Cheater Snip" version last time. Thinking it was the same smaller pair as previous. But even that larger pair cut my 10lb. braided line nicely. Though the magnifying glass attachment was a little hard to use (too small of a lens plus the Angle of adjustment to zoom in clearly) made it difficult for its function. Nonetheless, this something every fisherman should have at their side, when fishing. PLUS, BONUS, if you're looking to get a fisherman in life, a great cheap gift, this would be it. I can practically guarantee they will love it. Okay, I may be getting a little overboard from my experience, I do like like product!

I originally purchased the line cutter that looks like a small scissors, but it felt too small for my large hands. These are much easier to use and they work great.

I bring this little tool on every saltwater fishing trip now. Before this, I carried mini scissors and pliers with line cutters, but after using the SNIP, I stopped bringing all of that. I have used various brands of line nippers over the years. Some of them don't even cut monofilament line all that well, and are virtually useless at cutting braided line. I bought a pair of these for my grandson, and liked them so well I had to buy a pair for myself. The short sharp scissor blades allow for cutting close to a knot like any other nippers, but will snip through heavy mono as well as braided line.

I fish from a kayak, so I put a premium on keeping my tools tethered and accessible. These clippers will slice through braid and are always at the ready when you need them. Good ergonomics. The retracting action is strong and the cable is tough but I knocked off a star for the plastic clip.

I believe these are the best fishing nippers out there. With the built in "carabiner" you can hook them pretty much anywhere making them convenient vs looking around for scissors or pulling pliers out of some kind of holster. I have noticed over time they seem to dull a bit after cutting braided line a lot, but it takes a while. I will continue to buy and recommend this product.

I really wish the handle was a little thinner but not a deal breaker, however I've had no issues with these otherwise. They are sharp and cut well. I have even trimmed a fingernail and a pinch with them. They have no issues. Cutting braid which can be extremely frustrating with bad scissors or nail clippers. I think the price is a little bit high but not unreasonable. I've had no issues with rust. They're comfortable to hold, but sometimes the width can get in the way. I'm glad I bought the longer ones. It makes them easier to use. I think they could taper the plastic more towards the clippers and still leave room for the retractable wheel being wider. Either way, I don't think it would stop me from purchasing them unless they made a modified version.

This Boomerang Snip tool is a must-have for any fishing trip! Seriously, it cuts through 8, 10, and 15 lb braid like butter—it's super satisfying. Fluorocarbon and mono? No problem there either. It's quickly become my favorite piece of gear. Bought this one since I gave my old one to my father. He loved it so much he kept it. Yhe glad light is crap, but I don't use it. After about a year the light stopped working (dead batteries)

Very nice and quality product. it works with all kind of fishing lines. I have both Boomerang Fishing Line Cutter and Berkley Hot Line Cutter. both are excellent product but Berkley Hot Line Cutter is very convenient the only issue is it battery life is tooooo short

It's a must have for anglers.
