These have been perfect for my narrow entry way. My two cents would be to tighten the plate and the hook before screwing into the wall. Easy to install, level, and use. Can't beat the price!!

I love these! I made my first coat hanging area with these hooks and loved them so much that I bought them again. They are sturdy, can hold heavy coats and purses.

- At first, the size seemed a bit small, but that has "grown on me". Also, the size matches the strength of the hook.- The coating, or paint, is thin. It will not last long if you use these for hanging metallic items.- The hook is held to the base plate with a small machine screw. You may want to remove that screw, and use some loktite before reassembling it.- The mounting screws are long enough to reach through sheetrock to an underlying wall stud, but they are very thin screws. I would not hang anything heavier than a light jacket, a christmas stocking, or a computer headset. They would not last long with a heavy bath towel, for instance!- Because the screws are so slender, you'll want to drill a pilot hole for them.- The hook looks very good, partly because it matches my drape finials and tiebacks.

I really like the patina of these hooks, which works well in my kitchen in a pre-1900 home which blends new and old features. The darker color looks like old iron which matches the older age of the home and the lighter highlights echo the stainless steel elements in the room. They basically look like they have always been there. The screw heads have the same patina finish, so they blend well after installation.The construction is solid, I tugged on them after completing installation and they did not shift at all. The scrollwork design does allow for two items to be hung and access to the bottom hook is possible while leaving the top coat in place.A few things to consider for your application:1) The screws are quite long (1.5"), which is the thickness of my door. Because the screw heads sit a little on top of the plate, they do not poke through at all, but if you are installing on a door that is any thinner, you may have a problem. Since the patina is so unique, I do not think that it would be feasible the replace the screws easily, although black heads might be less obvious.2) If you need to use a power screwdriver, you may need to get longer screwdriver bits, because the screw holes are close to the hook. That's a good thing because they are very unobtrusive afterwards, but made installation a little harder than I had planned for.3) It is smaller than listed when I bought it (but I knew that from another reviewer and this size is what I wanted). I have submitted the correction to Amazon with photos, so it may now be correct. The dimensions I submitted are 3.375" from top to bottom, 1.5" plate width, 2.5" from wall to furthest point.

These are the best. I have looked a long time and something as simple as a hook should be easy, but these are very strong, great to the touch and a great color. I will buy more as I need them. I had a tough piece I was trying to find the right one to repurpose and although it was not the right size, I found a metal standoff to make them work. They are maybe cast and not hand forged, but I could not tell if so. They feel hand forged which is all that matters to me!

I absolutely LOVE these hooks!! We put them up in our mudroom. We converted a closet and added them in there for book bags, etc. They are HEAVY DUTY!!! We also installed them all down one wall to hang all hockey gear. It even holds their hockey bags. They are STURDY and they look great. I truly couldn't be happier with these!!

I love these hooks and I plan on putting in another order when I do my front porch. I used these hooks for my bathroom renovation. I went with a rustic farmhouse style of bathroom and couldn't be more pleased. The hooks are solid and black. I screwed them onto stained rustic reclaimed boards and then screwed them onto my bathroom walls in various places to hang towels and clothes. They have served their purpose well. These hooks are not a smooth polished texture but are matte black with a slight bumpy type of texture. I am 100% delighted with them and would recommend to a friend.

These are nice hooks and were the shape, and color/finish we were looking for to complete our new entryway area. Unfortunately, the package only included mounting screws for 4 of the 5 hooks. I think this was just an odd quality control issue as the screws are packaged with each hook individually. Tip: prior to installation, make sure the screw connecting the hook to the wall plate is very tight. Once mounted, you can only tighten it by removing it from the wall - hopefully it doesn’t loosen over time, but initially, they seem sturdy and of good quality.

Love these hooks. Very sturdy and I love the unique shape. Just a little different to add some character to the laundry room.

Strong and stylish perfect

Converted a back hall closet into an open one. Used these coat hooks which are very sturdy, easy to install and very attractive. Good value for the money. Very pleased.

These hooks were just what I was looking for. I wanted something that fit under the shelf and these point out rather than up and did the trick. I really like how they look. The recommended pilot hole to drill was too small for the supplied screws though and the first one I tried to screw in the head sheared off. I drilled the pilot holes larger and had no issues after that. If I ever need to take down my hook bars, I worry that the screws will break. The rest of the product is great and overall I'm happy with my purchase.
