I decided to mat and package my artwork for a popup I did in New York, and thought it would be fun to mix and match colors. I bought this same listing three times over the past month or so. The first two times, there was a good mix of colors (light blue, dark blue, red, greens, silver, yellow) with browns. The third time was a total disappointment. There were about 4 white mats in there, and the rest were brown, taupe and grey. I only used about half of the batch because I did not have a lot of art that worked with the brown. I would still take my chances on a future purchase because the price is so good, but it wasn't ideal.

This item is really good quality and shipped with care. There are just so many of them! That makes this a really good value, I just don't have any use for that many. I gave them to my wife so she can use them for her crafty crafts (she's so crafty). I used black frames to hang pictures of my family, and the assorted colors of these mat boards really makes them pop. This was a good way to add some color to my wall decor. It's a good thing I have a good-looking family. Otherwise these mat boards would steal the show.

This is a great buy--includes 100 each mats, backing boards, and plastic sleeves. The color assortment was pretty random, but I didn't have any colors that I felt I just couldn't use at all. I had a couple with very small dings on the corners, but none that I felt were so badly damaged they couldn't be used--the dings would be hidden by the frame once the artwork was framed. One other review mentioned that the mats seemed thin, but I found them to be of a standard thickness and plenty sturdy enough to mount my photographs. I've got to say, I was very pleased. Photo is of some of my artwork matted and framed in these mats.

Very happy with the color selection, pleasantly surprised by 3 metallic shades. Im adding a photo of the set I received, as I had wished there were more example images available, for potential shades/textures. Also, no 2 shades match, or rather none were duplicates, at least of the 25 pack I got. I was somewhat hoping for a few doubles, in case I wanted to use them in a side-by-side or collage type frame. Maybe the higher number packs might have doubles, but for my purposes 25 mattes was already overkill, but a better price than single options, and multiples seem to mostly come in white or black only.

This is the second time I’ve purchased these. I liked tho color variety of my first order better than this last order. You don’t have a choice so you may get a few neon orange or bright purple ones. The ones I don’t like I paint over so it works. These are great for your art. I’ve made small personalized graduation certificates, encouraging sayings, and art to give away as gifts. These make them look professional! Would highly recommend as long as you don’t care what colors you get.

The set of 25 were very well packaged and protected from damage. There’s a good variety of colors, although most of them tended to be on the darker or muted end of the spectrum. A lot of tans and grays, but enough of the light/bright colors to suit my purposes. Sizing was consistent and I was easily able to mix and match a good color palette.

I bought these mattes several months ago and really liked the quality but never wrote a review. I just assumed they were regular mattes and nothing special. I was wrong! I recently purchased another brand because they were less expensive and the quality was terrible! Don’t waste your money on the cheaper brand, they come damaged and warped, are poorly cut, and look like construction paper. These mattes did not warp, have a nice finish, and are well cut. I will buy them again.

I've been ordering these colored frames for sometime. I create oriental fashion cards showing kimono for men, women, and children. I also create hanbok or Korean dress cards and Chinese coat cards. Framing them with these colored frames give the cards a very special finish. Aloha!

These are well made sets, the sleeves are indeed resealable. My only quibble is that while there is a mix of colours to the mattes, many are just not all that appealing. I would order plain white or spring for the black ones were I doing it again.

A good assortment of matte colours, but I would have preferred more of a distinction between colours.
