Basco Deluxe Framed Sliding Shower Door, Fits 42-44 inch opening, Clear Glass, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish

I ordered this door because I couldn't find one at a local store. It fits beautifully! It took me about three hours to install because I took my time and had never installed a glass shower stall door before. I am beyond thrilled! The door slides smoothly, the door/frame is solid, and it looks great!Easy to install, great product!

This is a high-quality door, better than expected for the money. And, it looks fantastic! I was very pleased with this purchase. Smooth rollers, quiet slide, and perfect amount of 'frost' on the glass doors.My shower opening is not level, I discovered. But, this frame even makes allowances for that (be sure to follow all instructions)!Handles and door stoppers serve combined function. They are a bit small, but this is better than shower doors with excess items sticking out to snag things on!It was not difficult to install. But, took several hours (including removal of previous shower door). Again, be sure to follow the instructions to the letter, or you will be starting over!

The bumpers make it a bit of a tight squeeze for the 42-44 size though.

I read some reviews of other Basco models and styles that weren’t very positive, so I was a little worried about this purchase. As it turns out, those worries were unfounded. This door was perfect. Sturdy and heavy. Easy to install. Looks wonderful in our bathroom. If you have any DIY skills whatsoever, don’t hesitate to buy this door. American made as well. Great product at a good price.

I purchased this to replace a 40 year old shower door. The old and new doors look almost identical. My door is installed on a fiberglass shower stall. The install would have taken maybe 3 hours, but my shower stall has a curve as the wall goes to the floor. I wanted the side brackets to fit nicely, so I took the time to grind and file the curve into the aluminum side brackets. This took a lot of time as I kept grinding, and then test fitting, back and forth.I used a bench grinder, but you really have to be careful because the aluminum is thin, and the grinder wheel can kick it back and bend it. I also did hand filing for the finishing touch.My top bracket was a bit out of level, so I had to work on adjusting the door sliders to level the doors. That is a bit of a pain, with more trial and error. It’s easy to adjust, just a pain to keep lifting the heavy door in and out of the top bracket.One other thing to note, one of the final steps is to install a black plastic bracket to guide the doors at the bottom. Mine was a very tight fit, and prevented the inner door from sliding easily. I’m not sure if this is common or just from my install. I ended up adjusting the bracket by filing down the inside to make it wider, and that did the trick.Overall, I am very satisfied.

Doors look nice and arrived in one piece despite the outer box being torn. Good packing on the inside protected everything. My only complaint is that one of the door frames was bowed out in the middle. Looks like it was not seated well over the glass or something prevented it from seating all the way.

Purchased in 2021. Installation was uncomplicated. Almost 2 years later, it still works great. No discoloration. Glass is easy to clean. Highly recommend

Four small defects in glass. The holes for the towel bar in both doors not drilled Stright, had to redrill both doors to get the screw to line up with the towel bar.
