Lovely
I love everything about this holster. I am an emt, and always get tons of compliments on it from fellow coworkers, hospital staff, firefighters, ect. I thought the concept of holstering shears upside down was weird at first, and I kind of worried about them pressing into my side, but they are actually very comfortable. That is how I prefer to wear them--upside down. They're very convenient. They arrived on time and as expected. The picture showed blue when I first ordered, so I was a bit worried, but they arrived in black. At first, I noticed my trauma shears were a bit stiff when removing from them from the holster, but it has gotten easier and much smoother. They feel secure and do not fall out. You clip them on your belt upside down or right side up, however your prefer. The trauma shears that came with it were grey and yellow. They were good quality, not cheap, just not a esthetically pleasing. The only reason I don't still use them is because I am ocd and wanted black trauma shears to match. Highly recommend, love this product.

The BAT CLIP is hip!
I really love this set! As a nurse, I'm always bending at weird angles but the BAT CLIP remains secure. The scissors are sharp but the patients are protected from jabs and cuts by the blunted tip. The only reason that I gave this amazing set is the color: The black leather is ok (I'd prefer purple or blue) but the scissors, gray and yellow - ouch! A real eye sore.

Great case.
Great product. Can clip the case onto scrubs as I don't wear a belt while in the ED. Holds the shears firmly in place. Shears are very sharp out of the box - so much that I cut myself through a glove and cleaning wipe the first week using them and gave me a scare, but have dulled to a "normal" level after a month or so of use. I got this mainly for the case as I find it works better than a lanyard or retractable zip line for storage. That does the job beautifully and the adequete shears are a good bonus. I have the Batclip for my stethascope too and it's been working great for years.

Critical care approved
I am a critical care nurse at a large hospital. I have been using the Batclip stethoscope holder for years and love it. When I saw this, I had to have it. The quality and workmanship is excellent, what I expected from this company. You will notice the leather is thinner than the Batclip. Thats by design though I think, if it was thicker, your shears would get stuck. The shears included are your standard quality medical shears, I use my own. I was recently in a code and someone was yelling "I need scissors!" as I was giving compressions. I directed them to my handy Batclip shears holder and crisis overted. One thing to note, I clip this to my cargo pocket of my scrub pants with the leather INSIDE my pocket, clip out. Works great, all you see is the shears handle sticking out of my pocket and the low profile clip. I love this product, I recommend it to any medical professional.

love it.
I am always prepared in the trauma bay because I have these. Slim holster that does not weigh me down. I keep them hooked on the back of my pants, can't even feel it. So convenient. Scissors don't dig into my skin. People may bawk at the price but it's totally worth it and it's durable. Have also had the BatClip stethoscope holder for 5yrs, love it.

A little small for Xshears
I loved my Batclip stethoscope holder so much that I decided I needed one for my trauma shears as well. I do like the holster for my scissors but I have noticed a couple issues. My xshears right now do not really fit well enough in the holster, maybe it will stretch out with time and I've noticed some rust starting to form on the clip. I was wearing the holster on the outside of my scrubs with the clip against my hip and while scrubbed in for surgery I did get sweaty. The shears that came with the holster do fit great inside but if I reverse the shears the safety tab tends to catch on the inside portion on the clip, that's why I switched to Xshears. I have hope that with more time my holster will stretch out some more to fully hold my Xshears. Other than that this is a nice holster for scissors and I still absolutely love my Batclip stethoscope holder, it's still going strong

So I decided with the Batclip holster and I'm glad I did
I'm a ER nurse and I was looking for a holster that is durable and practical. The paramedics in my ER have the Leatherman Raptors, but to be honest they are too expensive and more than what I need. So I decided with the Batclip holster and I'm glad I did. I've had these over a month and I've had zero problems! They hold the shears perfectly! Also, these clips are perfect for scrubs, the clip holds up and never slip off or move.

The overall design is great, very well made
The overall design is great, very well made. However, I stopped using it everyday simply because it's a pain to re-holster. I just don't have the time or the ability to split my focus during a trauma to guide the shears into the mouth of the holster. If the mouth of the holster was reinforced so it didn't collapse similar to a high-end leather gun holster or if it was made from kydex I believe it would be absolutely perfect. A kydex version would probably even be cheaper/easier to mass produce and would hold up to nastiness and being wiped down with cleaners better.

Nearly really good but not yet there.
They are okish. The scissors feel to go better in the holster one way rather than the other; in this instance it’s a bonus to be left handed. Therefore, being right handed, I hang them off my belt upside down on my right side so they fall to hand correctly . I’d also suggest they would not get in the way so much if they were not vertical on the belt but at an angle. The moment you bend down to help a patient, they are digging in you. Overall, I feel they should really cost a maximum of £12 as I can already see where putting the scissors in and out will create a hole in the leather.

Beware. This is a scam
This product is advertised as holster with shears. Beware there are no shears so you’re paying the money for a holster only.
