Functional but Not Perfect: Additional Work Required for Physical Knob Fitting
The frame fits well in my Corolla S 2007 overall. However, the inner width for the screen is slightly smaller than 7 inches, so my double-din-size car audio doesn't fit perfectly. Additionally, the physical volume knob posed a problem for fitting. To resolve this, I had to cut out a portion of the frame to accommodate the knob and ensure a snug installation. Furthermore, I noticed a small gap between the top of the frame and Corolla's ventilation frame. The package included two mounting brackets, but unfortunately, they didn't work with my audio unit. The fixing slots didn't align with the screw holes on my audio, so I ended up reusing the original metal brackets from my Corolla instead of using their plastic brackets. If they improve the quality and compatibility of the brackets, it would make for a better product overall.

2004 Corolla - Works - Cheaply made
I uploaded pictures above of how it is installed with a JVC KWHDR81BT into a 2004 Corolla S. The directions including everything BUT the most important part of attaching the brackets onto the radio. The brackets have many slotted holes, so you dont know exactly where to attach them on the radio to ensure the radio sticks out of the dash the right amount. For them to provide a simple dimension between the bracket and the front of the radio would have been very helpful. Lazy, lazy manufacture. Basically you have to do trial and error checking in the dash until you get it right. The plastic is very thin and weak on the brackets. They used very cheap plastic. Also they have no ground wire provided to attach the metal screw on the radio chasis to the metal of the car. The factory radio was grounded through the metal brackets and this kit has plastic brackets which do not ground the radio. I installed a JVC KWHDR81BT into a 2004 Corolla. In the end it worked, install was easy once you figured out the right spot to screw the brackets on. 1. Solder/crimp/or connect your wiring harness kit to the stereo harness. 2. Remove the dash 3. Remove old radio 4. Install the microphone and fish the wire through your dash to where the radio goes. 5. On your new radio, remove the face bezel, remove the small metal chasis surrounding it. You wont need the bezel or the chasis from the new radio. 6. On your new radio, screw on the black brackets. Try to line the brackets up based on matching the front of the factory radio with the front of your new radio. 7. Install the metra black bezel in your vent dash. 8. Connect the wiring harness, microphone, and antenna. Tape the microphone connector so it cannot come loose later using duct or electrical tape since the connection is behind your dash. 9. Test the radio and speakers before you put everything back together. 10. Fish your USB cable through your dash to hang below inside the dash so you can get to it later. 11. Place your radio in the proper location, line up the bracket holes. 12. Test fit the dash vent/bezel section to ensure the brackets have your radio lined up correctly. If too far in or out, then take the radio out and re-adjust the brackets. 13. Screw in the bolts to secure the radio. 14. Reattach the vent dash section and bezel. 15. If you want your USB cable to sit inside the dash tray with the door, cut a hole in the top back of the tray and fish the USB cable through. 16. Reattach the rest of the dash. The kit could be made much better, but I looked and could not find anyone that made a metal or more durable version.

Excelente
Hace unos días le cambié el estéreo a mi carro y quedó perfectamente. Me parece que no hay ninguna opinión con ese modelo de estéreo, pero queda muy bien. Opté por utilizar los mismos soportes metálicos del corolla en los lados.

Good Quality
Like most products from Metra, this is quality stuff. BE WARNED: Metra will fit most name brand head units at 6.75 inches, but your no-name Chineseium cheap head units that are 7 inches will not fit this dash kit, even if the head unit manufacturer says it will. You will have to modify it.
