Great filters, good price, not made in the PRC.
These carbon bock (coconut hull origin) filters work well and the price is right. They are made in Taiwan, and I'm happy to buy them vs a product produced in the PRC. Amazon, thanks for providing country of origin information so users can make their own decisions.

Easy install - seems to work as intendedUpdate: So it’s been nearly two years since this drinking water faucet was installed and these filters have been installed since then, menacing the lines in and out always were attached tot horse filters. The reason I am pointing this out is that after two years you can see very clearly in the photos I shared that the incoming water line is tinted yellowish brown while the outgoing line tot he drinking water faucet is clear. This says a lot about what the filter is actually doing; it’s visual proof that took two years to compile! Yes, the water also tastes better but obviously, seeing how yellow the incoming water is, you can imagine that we don’t spend much time drinking it unfiltered. We live on a well and while our water has been tested and is very “good” water it contains a lot of minerals that affect the taste. Smash that like button if you thought this review was helpful ! ( I’m kidding - have a good day)

Economical water filter.
A great way to filter water to your refrigerator. If you don’t want to pay $40.00 plus for a water filter this is the way to go. Pull out the refrigerator, cut the tube, and install filter. Be sure to turn water supply off before cutting tube. Also filter should be flushed 10 minutes to remove loose medium. Just hang the filter in a 5 gallon bucket for flushing.

Fits just about anywhere
Hooked right up to the existing 1/4 in hose for our fridge ice maker. Seems good so far! Price is good also. Will wait and see how long it works before it plugs up.

Good product for good value
Does a good job removing hard minerals and iron from tap water. Also appears to remove chlorine odors.I recommend that you follow the flushing instructions as there is some charcoal residue inside the filter. Simply attach the water supply on the inlet end of the filter, turn on the water, and let the water rinse through the outlet end into a bucket. Let the water flow until it comes out clear (the 10 minutes recommend may be a little excessive). Connect the outlet piping and you're done.This is my third purchase of this product and it performs every bit as well as the more expensive or OEM filters.
