LOVE THIS...It's a wonder products! TONS of uses! Just be careful--VERY potent!!
I've been using this brand of GSE for over a decade and it's FABULOUS. This is my second bottle--my last 4 oz. bottle lasted TWELVE YEARS!There are so many uses for it that I cannot even name them all, but I'll mention a few:1) I make organic beauty products, including things like homemade Hyaluronic Acid, Retinoids, etc. and a drop or two of GSE in the compounds makes them shelf-stable because it's highly antibacterial.2) I've been KETO for 2 years and, as many long-term ketoers have discovered, this can sometimes lead to GI flora issues like SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). I developed this after starting to incorporate carb-loading days back into my diet, so I researched and discovered GSE is a VERY effective DIY treatment for SIBO and SIFO. After using 10 drops a day added to soy milk twice a day for a week, I completely cleaned out my gut flora--to the extent that I had to mass dose on probiotics to replace it all. So....I recommend much less than I used--I'd say about 3-5 drops once or twice a day, then 1 drop a day maintenance! I WAY overdid it!3) Great for plant health! It makes a great additive for both watering your plants and creating foliar solutions. I use 3-4 drops per gallon of water to help eliminate fungi in the soil, which in turn eliminates fungus gnats. It also helps to prevent viral mutations and bacterial disease in my house plants and, when used at about the same dose as a foliar spray, prevents bacterial and fungal foliar diseases and pests likes aphids and spider mites!4) You can use it externally as an antibiotic or antifungal treatment. Just be sure to dilute it. A foot bath with a gallon of warm water to about 10 drops of GSE is great for preventing fungal problems on your feet. I also make my own antibiotic spray for prepping lacerative and abraded wounds I'm about to wrap (also about 10 drops per gallon of warm water).5) I use it in my homemade cleaning sprays to boost their efficacy, in ant and other insect repellants, and even in laundry that has mildewed or needs an extra cleaning boost.***A few things to know about GSE are:1) It lasts a LONG time. I have finally used up a 4 oz. bottle I got 12 years ago, despite it being well past expiration. Yes, it does lose some potency as you get further from expiration, but it definitely still works! So a small bottle will last forever, despite using it routinely.2) It's INCREDIBLY potent--so definitely err on the side of less! Start with small dosing and adjust as necessary. Also, don't ever use it directly on your skin, because it will burn or highly agitate it.3) Taking it orally requires a carrier that masks the taste because, even in minute doses, it's the most bitter stuff you'll ever experience. Some people use orange juice, but I've found that SOY MILK is, hands down, the very best thing to mask the taste. Have no idea why, but I have used up to 15 drops (I never recommend this--it was part of my GSE learning curve early on!) in about 4 oz. of soy milk and couldn't taste it at all, whereas I've used as little as 1 drop in 8 oz of cranberry juice before and regretted it for hours lol.So, yeah...this stuff is pretty darn fabulous for tons of organic, home-based remedies---for both health and home.

Updated - Goodbye canker sores, thrush, rash…
Update 11-09-2023: I no longer use this after finding out it kills the good bacteria along with the bad bacteria in your body. It was effective with a mastitis infection I had while breastfeeding-I used an extremely diluted solution as I explained in my previous review, but I did not continue ingesting or using this topically because it was not effective after a few weeks when it came to my oral health and also my husband’s rash. I switched over to tooth powder for brushing my teeth (the glycerin in the toothpaste was causing the sores) and my cankers are all but gone. Overall I’d use this with caution because you can destroy your microbiome, the good bacteria will get wiped out along with the bad so it’s best to use a very small amount. What I do use this for now is disinfecting surfaces around the house by mixing it into a liquid cleaner and add it to my dish soap as a little additive to combat mold.Original review:This stuff is insanely effective, the first night I received it I diluted 25 drops into 1oz of distilled water to use for treating an overgrowth of thrush I was dealing with that was quickly starting to create a breeding ground for a throat infection. Never in my life had I been able to scrape off all the white residue off my tongue no matter what I tried but this stuff worked within hours before bed! I dipped a cotton swab into the solution and coated my tongue lightly then used separate swabs to treat several canker sores I was also dealing with. For reference I’ve had thrush on my tongue my whole life and have a very sensitive mouth, I will literally get a sore it I drink something too hot or eat anything sharp like potato chips. Two hours after applying the solution I brushed my teeth and the sores were no longer stinging and all of the thrush came right off my tongue when I brushed it! That had never happened successfully before and I’ve tried everything under the sun. The next morning the cankers had all but diminished and my throat no longer felt sore. This is a godsend if you have struggled with candida, I’m honestly in disbelief I had never heard of GSE before but I’m glad it came up when I searched on Amazon for anything that could treat thrush. (Searching keywords is now more effective on Amazon SEO because it’ll draw results from reviews, though I do miss the option to sort reviews based on keywords.) I’m also using it to treat thrush caused by breastfeeding and it’s helped substantially, all I’ve done is apply the solution with a cotton swab on my nipple after a feeding (rinsing the area with water first to remove any milk) and then adding a protective coat of ointment. My husband had also been struggling with a rash due to bacterial overgrowth from cutting sugar/carbs from his diet and he applied this same solution in the morning to his rash, by night time the inflammation had subsided! I highly recommended this to anyone who would rather use a natural remedy than using prescription drugs.
