The scent and longevity of this essential oil, reminds me of DoTerra but less expensive, love it! It lasts all day, smells amazing, and is healing. My favorite part of this product, is how it naturally colors the breathe rub I make for winter immune system health.

Young Living charges an arm and a leg for this. This by far is better then theirs and at a beautiful price. I highly recommend this oil.

This stuff leaks so bad. You loose so much of it. Not worth it.

The latin name is Tanacetum annuum so that you can make sure you are using the correct oil for any recipes that you might encounter.WHAT IS BLUE TANSY USED FOR?Blue tansy is a rather rare and precious oil. It is hard to find at times, so if you see it in stock and you want some, get it while you can. It is not uncommon for it to go out of stock as it is quite seasonal. It is a beautiful indigo color. This comes in a 5 ml bottle which is very small, but this is VERY concentrated. The aroma is beautiful. It is a fruity floral but grassy as well. When it is diluted it is very refreshing and pleasant. It is reminiscent of helichrysum if you have ever smelled that. It smells fresh and fantastic.HOW DID I USE THIS?I used the Plant Therapy Blue Tansy Organic Essential Oil in two applications.TOPICAL FOR PAINFor fibromyalgia pain I blended the follow oils in a carrier oil of jojoba, guava, and coconut oilsBlue tansyGerman ChamomileCopaibaHelichrysumThe results? I got really good pain relief for anywhere from two hours to six hours which for me and the type of pain I experience at night, is really good. It is one of the more effective pain blends that I have used.BONUS APPLICATION!I just woke up this morning with a very severe neck and shoulder pain as in stiff neck, but it was quite debilitating. This type of pain can last a few days no matter what I try to do to solve it. I put the same oil blend on my neck and shoulder only once, and within an hour it was GONE. It has not been back ALL day. I have NEVER had anything work like that before. NEVER.DIFFUSINGI diffused the following with three drops of the following blend total in a 400ml diffuserBlue tansyRosewoodFrankincenseHemlock SpruceResults? So, testing is essential on a patch of skin, but to be safe, it is best to use it only at night on the skin topically.HOW LONG WILL THIS STORE?If stored in a cool dark place, this oil can last up to 7 years. A wooden box not stored in a warm place is a great option, and if you have refrigerator room, you can store them in there, but it is easy to lose the tiny bottles.TAKE INTERNALLY?NO!!!!THE BOTTOM LINEIf you find that this is an essential oil you want to use, and you stick by the guidelines and cautions, then this oil is a fantastic quality blue tansy oil. I caution you that if you are on the fence about it, that you purchase it before it goes out of stock which is common for this oil. Was hoping to really enjoy this oil, unfortunately the bottle arrived broken and all the product leaked out. I contacted Amazon but they refuse to do anything since it was purchased 3rd party. Bummer!
