Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridge Large 24 Count

Very easy to use.I use them with an Aqueon pump in a large open container where I have guppies and taro plants. In this setting, the filters clog quickly and are very difficult to clean. Aqueon recommends disposing of used ones, but that is too costly. Might work better in a smaller setting without live plants, but that is not my setup.I clean them by using Dawn dishwashing liquid in water. Occasionally I add Clorox to kill the algae that stick in the filters.

These filters just drop in, but they do plug easily. I find myself rinsing them out every few days with a spray head. And I use an additional 100 micron filter sheet, which does make a big difference.

Best value based on how many you get for the price. These are my go-to filters for my aquarium, and Petsmart only carries small quantities--and I don't fancy driving a half hour to get them.These filters seem to work best out of several that I've tried. They keep the water cleaner and trap lots of waste.

These aqueon cannister filters I decided I would start reusing instead of switching once a week due to their extremely high price.

I've used these for years in my tanks, and they get the job done. I have over filtration (I have a canister filter plus a 75 gallon tank-top filter) and it makes a difference in the cleanliness of the fish in my 75 gallon tank. They hold up well and trap a lot of debris.

I use 2 large filters on my 65 gallon tank, they work effectively and help remove and clean tank well, rinse them several times for further use, its a great product with excellent value. Scott

Easy to remove. Convenient to store. You can rinse this product and reuse it. Just pull it up and check the debris on the front and rinse. The time to rinse depends on the number of fish and how large.
