The media could not be loaded. This is one of my first coloring books by Action Publishing. I was surprised at how well made the book was compared to other coloring books. It has a spiral top binding so left and right handed colorists should both have an easy time coloring. It is printed on a good grade of card stock and it also has a plastic blotter page which can be moved around under whatever your current working page is.The designs are great fun too. There are a full 36 designs with half of them being full page and the other half being banner size. The subjects are all fantasy with dragons, unicorns, castles, mermaids and more. The way the book is arranged, there is a full length design first and then a banner design on the same subject. It's a different and interesting way of setting the book up.This is what I experienced while coloring in the book and testing the paper with my coloring medium:36 Fantasy Designs – 18 subjects in full page and banner size designs.Printed one side of the pagePaper is white, card stock, lightly rough and non-perforatedSpiral boundCutting line is at the top of each page but the pages are not perforated.Easily opens flat for ease of coloringDesigns stop well short of the cutting line and spiral bindingIncludes moveable medium weight plastic blotter pageAlcohol-based markers bleed lightly through this paperWater-based markers and India ink pens leave indistinct shadows on the back of the pageGel pens do not bleed through the paperColored pencils worked nicely with this thin but slightly rough paper. I tested both oil and wax based pencils and got good color with multiple layers of the same color, good results from layers of different colors and nice blending results using a blending stick.

My wife began coloring a few years ago, and did so as a Stress Reliever. With that being said, she turned 55 in March, and RETIRED! Her stress is over, however, NOT MINE! What she started as a basic stress reliever, has turned into a PASSION, and that passion has turned into $$$……..with that said, this Book is TOP QUALITY, and worth every Penny! The saying, “You get what you pay for”, probably originated by an artist? My wife has an extremely NICE assortment of Pens, Markers, Pencils, Water Colors, etc……those only lay down the color, but with CHEAP PAPER, the color can smear, bleed through, not lay consistently, and more……that is NOT THE CASE WITH THIS BRAND, AND THIS BOOK! When I wrote above that the stress has ended on me now? A “Happy Wife, Happy Life”, is worth anything and everything, and this PASSION she has to Color; it’s not going anywhere, and my only hope is I can find her another job….KIDDING! I over achieved, and I LOVE, THAT SHE LOVES AND ENJOYS COLORING!

First off this book is amazing!the paper is thick with no designs on the back of the pages.the spiral binding is at the top of the book so you can easily move the book around to coloring without hitting the binding. There are 36 designs in the book.they are for the most part mythical. Alot of dragons,unicorns, a mermaid,etc. I think the author and the publisher really thought of everything a person would want in a great coloring book.they did a awesome job.the only problem I have is that these books are so hard to find.they are beautiful just make them easier to find please.

Have 4 or 5 of the Color It books and hey are fantastic. Original hand drawn art on cardstock with hard covers and spiral. Whats not to like. I also just discovered the double ended brush pens and they work really well in these books and much faster than pencils. I still come back and shad with the pencils and that works. These designs are perfect for all the bright colors. I will probably get most of these books. Also I actually like the pages with the smaller designs. Won't take as long to complete and can experiment!

This is the third one of the adult coloring books I have bought from this company. I like them all. I love the top spiral binding and the heavy paper they use. The designs are very intricate and take awhile to color. You won't get one of these colored in two hours....LOL!! They take all mediums that I use very well. The book includes a plastic blotter page to prevent bleed through staining. The only thing that I don't like is the ink will rub off when blending or pressing on it. They really need to upgrade the printing ink they use in these books. Otherwise they are very nice books. I'd recommend them to colorists....probably more advanced colorists.

This spiral bound coloring book is the ideal size to hold on your lap. I like the extra detail of the drawings. I am enjoying this so much, I have almost completed the entire book. I am hoping this company has more options in this size. i will most likely purchase them all.If you use gel pens & enjoy small detailed coloring, this is for you! enjoy

This is just as nice as the other colouring books Kathryn Marlin has done, so the same review would apply here, all the images are done on a high quality card stock and there is a page or two for you to practice your test colours and what not. This one did not cost as high ($24 CAN} as the other one I bought which set me back $50 CAN...as with the other colouring books of hers, there are some duplicates images in this book too

Love this book! So far I have purchased the complete series and each time I am not disappointed. Thick paper of superb quality with fun to colour images. I highly recommend this book.

AMAZING BOOK! Absolutely love this colouring book series and I have purchased the whole set. Amazing page quality. Pictures are imaginative and fun to colour. Simply my favourite by far!

Great variety of drawings, allows for lots of creative colour combinations. Heavy paper stock for minimal bleed through.

Love the pages within! The only complaint I have is that I wish the clear divider was detachable so I wouldn't have to cut out each page to there will be no bleeding. Other than that I love it!
