I'm very happy with this item. Not only does it work just fine as a replacement for the trigger assembly on my Ryobi RY141900 pressure washer, but it appears to be of vastly better quality than the original part that it replaced. The internal parts that transmit the high-pressure water from the inlet hose to the wand all appear to be made of brass or polished/plated steel. The corresponding parts of the original assembly were of black plastic, except for the valve and the fittings on the end. That black plastic cracked after barely five hours of use, causing a high-pressure leak and necessitating the replacement. This one is built like the original should have been, and is likely to last much longer.The label says "genuine," but I can't tell if that's true. The outer shell looks superficially similar to the original part, but it doesn't say "Ryobi" on it, the molded indentations are different, and the screws go in from the opposite side. No matter: functionality and durability for the win.

Great quality product, but have to be carefull for spare part models

The original equipment wand started leaking pressure after a few uses. There is a plastic tube inside that should be made of brass or steel, it split. A year later, too late for exchange. This $30 part arrived quickly and is obviously the original factory wand minus a stick-on nameplate. My $200 pressure washer works again. I worry a bit that this part has the same internals with the same poor design, but it was a quick and easy fix.
