Very easy to install and provides good protection
With the way Model Y has been designed, these should come factory installed. However, unfortunately they don’t. This product was of good quality, and went on quite easily. There were a few small bubbles after installation that I was not able to get out even after trying several times however, they all went away next day. So far, it has been working well in my Model Y and is nearly invisible. You have to really look for it to be able to tell that any PPF is installed in the rocker panel on the rear doors. I recommend this if you want to protect the paint of your new car.

Easy to install and looks invisible
Very easy to install. Everything you need, minus the spray bottle is in the kit. Took me about 20 minutes total to install. Unless you are looking for it, you cannot tell it is there.

Well worth it
Finally installed this paint protection kit for my Model Y this weekend and its awesome! It comes in a nice package and looks amazing. The film is super glossy and has good thickness. Its definitely much smoother and clearer than the Tesla brand and I think the shape looks better too. Make sure to keep everything wet when you install it. I found if I didn't keep the top wet enough, the squeegee did not slide as good. Take your time and it'll come out great. The pattern is perfect. Make sure you add the mud flaps too just in case.

Easy to apply, looks great
One of the flaws of the Tesla Model Y design is how the rear doors flare out. This causes the lower rear door sections to be peppered with road debris that get flung up by the front wheels. Tesla noticed this issue and released the rear door PPF kit and even had some Model Y's come with them depending on region. However, not all cars come with them.Installation was fairly easy. Clean the area, wet the area, peel the PPF, wet the PPF, align, squeegee, let it cure.If you did it right, it should be almost invisible.I do wish the PPF was cut to cover more that it does. It seems to come up quite high, however, it doesn't seem to cover as wide as the Tesla PPF does.

Great product and easy to install
Was shipped on time . Instruction and video were very straightforward and most of all the seller is very helpful to provide tips and help with the installation. I am all for supporting sellers who go above and beyond to help customer and definitely worth a recommend for this product . The slip solution is a must, preferably install in a garage where the weather is no too cold also lot of slip solution on your fingers before u handle them .

Easy installation
Super easy to install and protects a high impact area on the Model Y. The company also has a YouTube video with instructions for the installation. I recommend reading the instructions and watching the video.

Is it worth it?
Personally I prefer the shape of this compared to the PPF offered through the Tesla shop. Unless you're a DIY type of person, this might be an easier task for you to install. However, I sort of have an OCD for perfection so I had an installer help me install it instead. Installer took about 10 minutes to install since it was a small piece and experienced.I originally had some small paint chips in those areas and I plan to keep the car as long as possible. That's the main reason I opt for this small PPF. My vehicle is the 2023 Tesla Model Y.Price wise, it's probably not worth $50. If you're walking next to the vehicle, it's easy to see the top edge of the film. My mom actually thought someone scratched the car when it was actually the top edge of the PPF that was visible.Time will tell whether it will prevent future damages and how it'll look over the years.

Very nice PPF door kit if Tesla's is always sold out
1 month into my Model Y ownership, I started noticing rock chips and scratches on the door panel even after I installed mud flaps on day 1. Since the $50 Tesla DIY PPF door kit is always sold out, I thought I'd try this brand out because it came with the install gel and squeegee for the same price as Tesla's. It arrived in a cardboard cylinder and came with instructions and a link to their youtube installation video. I installed it easily in about 10 mins and it looks great. Highly recommend!
