Such a useful tool
In this era of online grade books and attendance I think it is extremely tempting to just use the computer all of the time. But I have always felt that the safest thing to do is to use the paper book as the master copy, that way when (not if, when) technology lets you down you have a back up. I use this for everything from daily attendance and grading to seating charts.
