Awesome company
Mine malfunctioned after nine months of severe service, called the company, asked to send 2 couple pictures, a replacement actuator was sent the next day. First class warranty service from a first class company. Will buy again.

Working great! But pricy!
Working great! But pricy! I'm using this to open a trap door approx.. 70lbs installed in Jan. It April now so far so good. Price and not coming with mounting brackets is the only reason for not giving 5 stars

Nice looking actuator, but the slotted articulation ends need a redesign.
Both slotted articulation ends are round in cross section, making the use of a bolt fastener a problem unless one uses a machined shim that matches the curvature of the ends on one side, and has a flat surface on the other side. The articulation end of the piston has plastic (polyethylene?) bushing inserts that are a joke, these will not stand up to heavy dynamic loading. I popped them out and am using a grade-8 1/2-13 bolt that has a .495" diameter shank that very snugly fits the holes in the piston end. The other end has .402" holes in it, I bored these out to .405" so that I can use some titanium aircraft bolts I have on that end.

Check it out before you install it
The media could not be loaded. The only problem I had with this from the 1st day was, when the actuator went all the way out it still tried to keep going even at the end of its stroke. it was not making the microswitch took in cap off jammed a screw down into the plastic that the microswitch is on and that pushed it slightly down the tube so that the actuator for the microswitch was now hitting the switch and stopping it in the right position

Product review
Ordered these for a boat engine hatch, originally hydraulic rams that were not reliable. Very well built, quiet, and easy to hook up! Love them!! They do not come with mounts, so you need to order them separately!!!

Alternative bed lift vs OEM
The media could not be loaded. Installed this linear actuator size 10 in my 2011 Polaris ranger diesel for a bed lift, some slight modification on the motor mount side. I had to increase the Clevis hole sized rom 7/16 to a 1/2. Works well, very pleased with the functionality and speed. Also saved my self around $400 vs a OEM actuator.

Really great unit!
I've used an electric actuator on my snow blower deflector for over ten years, usually trying to get by with a $60-$80 units that would burn out after 2-3 years. Half the time they didn't work at all due to being frozen. I decided to spend more money and get a higher quality unit and I'm glad I did. This unit is reasonably fast and is super smooth. I'm anxious to test it when the snow comes.

Seems to work fine
The media could not be loaded. Got it to lift a oldschool VERY heavy snow thrower mounted on a garden tractor. A little slow, but, seems to lift just fine without strain.I'll update if anything changes.

Worked great on my Rinker
I needed something like this to lift up my engine hatch on my05 Rinker Fiesta Vee 300 boat. The original one failed and at first, I found the right one but it was $800.00 and they could get it to me by September. Then I found these online and seemed too good to be true but it worked as promised and is even quieter than the original. Great Product!
