Do not over tighten the mounting nuts!!
I did over-tighten one mounting clamp and stripped the bolt out. I called DRT Motorsports direct and even though it was my fault they immediately shipped me two replacement mounting clamps at no cost. These flag mounts are very well made and very sturdy (as long as you do not over torque the mounting blots and strip them out. Now am able to drive at 55 MPH with both US and MIA flag blowing in the wind. Now if they only made flags that would hold up to the flapping at those speeds! Lol Thank you DRT for fantastic product and customer service, your awesome!

Built solid & attaches sturdy
The media could not be loaded. Installation was fast & easy after I cut away the bed liner. Attaches strong & solid to the bed of my 1996 Tacoma. After a few test flights (with flag) at freeway & backroad speeds, it hasn’t bent the bedrail. (Which was one of my fears.)Overall, I love it!! 5⭐️‘s I plan on buying a 2nd one for the other side of my truck bed.This is the perfect flag holder for those who don’t have a hitch or a hitch mount.My only advice would be this; Make sure the actual flagpole is STRONG & can handle high winds & higher speeds.

Did not come with all hardware parts
This was a pretty easy assembly but didn’t come with all the bolts needed.

You need this trust me
It took longer to unbox than install. Very impressed with the quality of product and ease of installation. I plan to buy more. If you ever wanted to fly flags from the bed of your truck without drilling into the bed this is perfect. Boots came precoated which made instillation easier. Highly highly recommend.

Brackets are cheap
The plag holder itself is fairly solid, however the u shaped brackets that hold it down are pot metal, all but one of mine bent within the first 2 weeks. Ended up keeping the pole holder and buying bed cap clamps and cobbling together new brackets with wood blocks as spacers. Plan on bolting directly to the bed eventually but this has worked for now.

Great product for the price
Easy to install only complaint is the tabs start to bend over time could have made them with a higher grade steel.

Doesn't Fit 1.5" Flag Pole
Overall the construction is great, however it states that it will fit a 1.5" flag pole and that isn't true. Max size pole it will fit is 1-1/8"... I ended up making my own flag poles for this cause ultimately installing this on a truck creates a lot of drag and these flimsy little poles they sell on amazon are not sturdy enough to withstand the winds.
