Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale Protein Shake is the most DELICIOUS tasting low carb protein shake that I’ve tried and I have tried about every single protein shake in chocolate on the market. I have tried another Atkins Chocolate protein liquid shake and it tasted watered down and chalky. I have tried MM and it’s good but the price point has much higher and the taste no better. I find the taste, price point and protein, fat/carbs, vitamins and minerals content fair more favorably to my other choice PP. Adding to that, Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale has the same 15 grams of protein, while maintaining only 5 grams of fat and 6 grams of carbs in the 11 fluid oz drink. It equals any shake out there for added vitamins and minerals content. The low carbohydrate count is very important to me as I am diabetic. It actually soothes my stomach when I have to take several medications in the morning and it digests easily causing no GI distress that I have experienced with some protein drinks especially powder based ones that, no matter how well I mix them always seem to have a gritty texture and a chalky flavor. The texture of this shake is very smooth, in fact you can just savor the taste and texture on your tongue. The price point for the 12 pack of Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale Protein Drink is really quite good making it a great value for the money. Overall; even if you are not on the Atkins diet (which I am not) and just want a great protein drink at a reasonable price, I highly recommend trying this.

I purchase these all the time as a diabetic. They are the perfect size, quick and easy to have on the go for breakfast. I love dark chocolate and these taste so good. The ingredients are good and keep my glucose stable on the go. They are a great value for the money if you consider the cost of eating out. I recommend these for my friends and family all the time.

Decent low carb shake, does what it needs to. Doesn't taste bad but provides a little variety for those tired of the milk chocolate flavor. Provides some basics when I don't want to eat a heavy meal at work when I know I will be sedentary for hours

atkins stuff is good- alternative to add an ounce to coffee in the am instead of dairy- and I like it instead of a sugar option at nite as 1/2 container as a dessert because it has protein and a sweet taste- I have diabetes and I do not get spikes on my glucometer from drinking it
