Haven’t been able to use this yet but did fill with water to test for leaks. Seems pretty solid but the hose came bent in the packaging which caused a permanent kink/crease in it which somewhat restricts water flow. Think I saw another complaint about that so why are they still packaging it the same way?Also don’t understand how to get it dry inside again to avoid mold. Appreciated that the back is clear plastic so you can see through. I tried blowing in it with a hair dryer but still water drops stayed at the seams on the bottom.

Even though I haven't used it yet, not until a emergency pops or if I go camping or fishing in June. I did my research so I based my 3 stars on that. But by June I will test it on Brooklyns canarsie pier

Performed well as a camp shower. We used it on a river trip and it heated up well sitting on the back of the raft all day, and easily provided enough water for three of us to have a quick rinse at the end of the day. The water tended to cool down very quickly once the sun was off the shower, so we found we needed to use it pretty much as soon as we took it out of the direct sun in order to get decently warm water.

I previously posted a negative review (that I deleted for reasons that will be clear if you read on) because there were problems with both my original order and the replacement. Although this sounds bad, the fact is that both Amazon and Advanced Elements went to extraordinary lengths (especially considering the price of the item) to make sure that I was ultimately a happy customer. Advanced Elements makes great products -I also own one of their wonderful Advanced Frame Inflatable Kayaks- but, just as importantly, they also stand behind the products they sell. The Solar Shower is a great product but my suggestion is to look for and order the regular version and NOT the PVC Free shower. Secondly, if you have a problem with your shower, call or email Advanced Elements and they will make it right. I would not have believed it, but trust me it's true. Both companies have set a new high bar for customer support.

I bought this camp shower because its PVC free. I wrote the manufacturer because I thought I smelled vinyl when I opened the product. Here is their response: "The Advanced Elements 5-Gallon PVC Free Solar Shower is made with a polyurethane laminate that is bonded to the black fabric, and a clear panel of the same PU on the opposite side. The other components used are Polyethylene, ABS, silicone tubing, and Nylon hardware. Many shower curtains now use similar material which is either PU or PE based. The polymer scent could be more intense when the solar bag heats up. To reduce this you can try rinsing the inside of the shower bag with warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda." They have also assured me that they test all materials at their factory prior to production and also spot check at the warehouse in the US with a simple burn test for PVC. So I'm satisfied the product is in fact PVC free as claimed.

Wow, what an incredible let down. I was initially reluctant to buy this product due to the higher price tag, but since it was "highly recommended" by various articles claiming it to be the most durable sun shower and is made of PVC free material, I figured I'd try it for myself. WASTE OF MONEY. After just 2 uses, a dime sized slit appeared in the side seam making this utterly useless and a damn waste of money. I was always so careful with handling and storing this shower bag since the material felt very fragile, and even so it still managed to get a rip in it.Good thing I decided to purchase a different shower bag, which right out of the packaging felt much more durable and of higher quality, not to mention about $20 less expensive (and PVC free). Very disappointed in this shower bag and do NOT recommend this to others. Would be nice is Advanced Elements collected and reused material from defective products. Would be happy to ship my bag back to them.

It works great for me , only one thing u don’t have to full it up all the way 3 gallon is all u need more than that it too heavy ...

I originally purchased this shower because I am deployed in Afghanistan, and the FOB we are at does not have running water, nor showers. When I recieved the package the shipping container was not damaged, nor the showers box itself. The first time I tried filling up the shower water was going everywhere. Then I noticed that the elbow that connects the shower head hose to the bag was already sheared half way off.In saying this I am not sure if it was my fault that this happened. But I do not see how me taking it out of the box to the water point could cause a tear like that. I would look for a better product, and only use this one if all others were sold out. Or just use a water bottle over and over again.SGT O INF. US ARMY

Initial impression was that it was much better made than the cheap PVC solar bags.I've had a few of the cheap 'Gelert' style ones over the years and they all seem to fail at around 6 months splitting from the handle downwards. I decided to spend quite a bit more to go for this Advanced Elements PVC free bag, and was a bit disappointed when the seam split after only 3 months use. Left the bag in the sun laid flat on the grass, came back and the seam had just given way, about a 1cm split near the hose outlet.Would have been happy to try again with one but Amazon are out of stock so item was refunded

Wow!used in early September in the UK and water was almost too hot, worth keeping a little cool water to mix in if required.So much better quality than cheap PVC solar showerGonna get a lot of use out of this after paddleboarding and winddsurfing

It worked great; about four hours in the sun and it was warm. Definitely recommend it was awesome on our 11 day camping trip in the mountains of Clearwater County

In pictures it looks nice but really is not a 45$ product, it has a very cheap look, I'm very disappointed, don't pay 45$ for that.

Diese Solardusche kostet locker das doppelte bis 4-fache anderer Solarduschen. Entsprechend hoch war meine Erwartung und ich wurde gleich mehrfach enttäuscht:- Der Duschkopf ist gleichzeitig der An- und Aus-"Schalter". Wenn man in ihm zieht läuft Wasser, wenn man wieder an ihm drückt stoppt der Wasserdurchfluss. Leider führen sogar leichteste Berührungen dazu, dass man den "Schalter" unabsichtlich bewegt. Sehr unpraktisch, wenn dies plötzlich im Auto passiert.- Qualität: Der Duschschlauf hatte bei Auslieferung einen Knick. Ich habe die Solardusche nicht zurückgeschickt, da ich noch am Zustelltag auf Urlaub gefahren bin und so schnell keinen Ersatz gefunden habe. Ich hatte auch gehofft, der Knick würde wieder zurückgehen und im übrigen keine Funktionsbeeinträchtigung darstellen. Leider ist der Knick geblieben und die Konsequenz ist eine deutlich verringerte Durchflussgeschwindigkeit.Recht gut hingegen ist:- Integrierter Spiel (kein Witz)- guter Tragegriff
