First time ordering crochet yarn for my mom (95!) to crochet a baby blanket. She was so excited to get the yarn once she saw the color and felt the softness. I was a little disappointed that the 8 skeins are each about the size of a softball, not nearly as big as a “standard” skein, but I don’t crochet, and since my mom was pleased, I didn’t want to rain on her parade. However, about 30 minutes into crocheting, she finds a rather large frayed portion of yarn, followed by another portion that has irreparable separation of the strands . She said she would have to cut out the defective strand and knot it…. “Knot” what you want in putting in so much time and effort in crocheting…. a labor of love to say the least. Of course, I’m not going to have her undo what she’s crocheted; otherwise, I’d be sending the yarn back as being defective. I just hope the other 7 skeins are of much better quality.

I love the feel of this yarn, and my first baby blanket is looking pretty good. The only problem I have is the yarn seperates and I have to use a plastic crochetting needle. My metal one kept seperating the yarn, so I'm crochetting somewhat slow. I would still recommend this yarn.

I was looking for a yarn that was unisex for a family who did not want a gender reveal. I came across this yarn and it was a blessing. It was as soft as I wanted, with muted colors that were just perfect. The 8 balls were enough to make the blanket.

But, sometimes I found yarn tied together in a little knot. I use this yarn to make my nieces New Years gifts. I hadn't crochet in many of years. I enjoyed the texture of the light weight thread.I especially love the color of the thread that I purchased.

I love this yarn! It is soft and easy to work with. I’m making a scarf for my granddaughter and it looks so beautiful. I would like to make a baby blanket out of it next. And it is hypoallergenic which makes it even better! Thank you KnitPal for this beautiful yarn!
