Great quality and the color is so nice. It's my first attempt at using a dutch oven, so I have only made soup in it so far, and the soup turned out better than when I would make it in the crockpot.

I ordered this for a “lazy sourdough” recipe which calls for proofing inside the Dutch oven and then putting the cold Dutch oven right into the oven. For that, it’s great. For regular recipes where you preheat the DO, this is too small for a standard size boule. It is also too small for the bread sling. I was very new to bread baking or I would have ordered something larger.Heads up on the little extras, the trivet works fine, but the little hand grabber pot holders will melt if you use them to move your heated cast iron DO. I’m not exactly sure what the point of these is, because they can’t withstand the heat. I just had a sudden unwanted little project to get the melted plastic or whatever it is off the 450° DO so it didn’t make my bread smell like chemicals while it cooked.

I love this Dutch oven. I was intimidated about getting a cast iron Dutch oven, but this came with instructions for keeping it clean and it is so easy to clean it out and take care of it. The silicone handle 'mitts' protect from burning while moving the pot from the stove to the sink or table. I wish I'd bought it sooner than I did.

Don't want to return it - but it looks like it was not packed well and the handle has a piece of the metal missing. It won't hurt the performance - and I hope it won't bother me in years to come. I want to start using it and don't want to wait a long time to get a replacement. Anyway - just venting since I didn't see anywhere to vent to the manufacturer/distributor.

The media could not be loaded.  Unfortunately, I missed the return window as I bought in Oct as a Christmas gift. When we opened the box there was a triangle piece from the sidewall of the pot. I have never heard of cast iron cracking like that, especially when not used.Hard to find warranty info or contact on product website.

I received this with two chips in the enamel of the lid. It doesn’t affect the cooking/baking, but I’m really disappointed it didn’t arrive in “undamaged” condition considering how much I paid for it … hence the two stars.
