Not for mountain bikes
I think it could work ok, did not work on my mountain bike, his head kept bumping into my chest and he's only 15 months old and in the 20th percentile. A more upright bike would likely be ok. On top of that. The safety shoulder straps dont stay on, a bit of a design flaw

Make sure it fits your bike
Make sure you have the correct bike anatomy or look into a head tube adjuster. I could not locate anything to adjust my bike to fit this seat and I really wanted it to work! It’s cute and seems nicer than the other seat that I had to use because it works with my bike.

So fun!
My daughter loves being along for the ride and having such a great View! I wish the cross strap on the little harness was more secure. It tends to slip down and then the straps can fall off her shoulders. Otherwise it is perfect.
