So we bought this chair 2 years ago for my husband, who was getting lumbar fusion surgery. He really liked it. I was a big step up in quality from the previous one we bought. His only complaint was that the footrest never reached fully horizontal. He loved the style, comfort and adjustability however. Over time the foot rest sagged more. He started using pillows under his legs to prop them up. This was less than ideal. Well he just had another fusion surgery and the chair was becoming problematic. I decided to contact the company to find out if there was an adjustment I could make to the chair to correct the footrest problem. They responded very quickly to my inquiry and asked for more information. I sent a video of the chair in motion and they immediately responded with an acknowledgement that the chair was not functioning properly and told me they would be sending another one out. I was floored. This chair has had daily use for 2 years and they did not hesitate to fully replace it. The new chair is a dream, with very smooth action and a fully horizontal footrest. Thank you so much for being a company with such integrity.

I ordered this for my wife who is disabled. she has a short torso and needs a chair to accommodate that. We have only had the chair for a week. But, it arrived in two boxes. It was easy to set up, if you watched the video. She likes it. It seems to be well made. The motors are smooth acting. The foot rest is high enough. The lumbar support is a plus. It does take a bit of room considering it has to be 24" away from a wall to fully recline.

Chair was delivered on time in good condition. I have only had the chair set up for a couple of days but seems to be well built and comfortable. Back and foot rest can be operated separately and can be fully reclined to a sleeping position. This is a very nice piece of furniture and reasonably priced considering the features which includes lumbar support. A USB port would be a nice addition.

We bought this chair for my father in law. He is 84 and having a lot of trouble getting up and down. After 3 falls in a week, we decided to get him a chair that assists him in standing. The quality of the chair is above average. It is a gorgeous chair. It was very easy to put together and works better than we imagined.We did have an issue with shipping (FedEx). I contacted seller and Jessica made a call on our behalf to shipper. Problem resolved the next day.If you are considering a lift chair, you can buy this one with confidence. After 2 years one of the motors short circuited causing the power supply to burn out and fail. Have not been able to get any response from the company, they have not returned my phone calls.Also, lumbar feature SUCKS … it feels like a 2X4 in the middle of my back. Have had to use a pillow since day one.

Chair is just “ok”. There are similar quality ones here for less $. The lack of adjustable headrest is a downer for this price. Material seems like it’ll wear in just a couple years are most. And it’s not particularly comfortable. Returns are a big hassle and on your dime. So keep that in mind. For nearly 1k I expected more. Shoulda just went to a local store and picked one up. At least i could take it back. Meh.

This lift chair is for a man who has compression fracture in back 5'6 medium. Very nice quality for the price and chair was not too difficult to install if you are mechanically inclined. Otherwise suggest hiring someone to assemble. You will need a large dolly to bring it inside you home two boxes. The chair works great at this time and is very comfortable. I love the built in adjustable lumbar support and an extra pillow. This is a firm chair which was one of the features I was looking for.
