City Corner - Bookstore - 259 Pieces

The instructions are these are slightly harder to follow than the name brand ones and the builds are not as sturdy layer by layer. But they look nice and fit together well with other brands (both minor and major).

It’s so adorable! This is our 3rd set of this kind. This one in particular had many pieces missing. Fortunately we have extra Lego pieces from different projects.

Fun

The piece’s for the roof are terrible. The directions show the bottom half of the cup one way (female piece) and then the directions on the following page for assembling it to completion shows it as a a male piece. Since it is actually a female piece the top of it just sort of sits freely on top without clicking together unless you take it apart and connect the white top to the internal cylinder. The pipe piece is completely straight and doesn’t want to bend and is to thick to click into place. I had to use a razor to shave the ends so they would fit into the other pieces. Once it’s assembled it won’t stay because it keeps trying to straighten. I literally yelled out “Damn you little $&?!ers!” while trying to finish the roof. I’ve never had any of these problem with the other City Block building blocks before.
