Vakly Dental Cotton Rolls [Pack of 100] for Mouth Gauze and Nosebleeds - #2 Medium 1.5" Non-Sterile 100% High Absorbent Cotton roll (100 Count)

I ordered these rolls to help hold medicine in place for a cavity I’m waiting to have crowned. The medicine is on its own cotton pad which I held in place with my finger for about 15 minutes. I purchased these rolls to use in place of my finger over the pad. In the description, the rolls are listed as non sterile which I was ok with. Upon arrival, I found the rolls placed inside the normal clear/green Amazon bag which I have gotten many times with other products inside. However the problem I have with this is the rolls have black pieces on the ends where they must of have been sitting on something dirty. I understand non sterile but at least put them in their own bag before sending to Amazon so that they at least stay clean. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE.

Use this for dental area while having dental work done. Cotton rolls were hard and it was frustrating. Caused irritation on my gum area. I would soak roll in water before using, to soften it.

If they didn't come of the package looking dirty (found dust/lint on the ends of some of the rolls), I may have given them 5 stars.Dental gauze implies that these should essentially be sterile.

These work great for what I am using them for and that is to keep my lip out so I won't bite my upper lip. The only the thing that I don't like about them is that I have to cut them in half in order to use them. I wish they came in a smaller size. But they work in a pinch.

I have an overbite that cuts into my lower lip inside the mouth. When I sleep it particularly bothers me. If I put one of these inside my lower lip it stops the pain. I also find that it does not fall out at night. This absolutely solves my problem.
