I am pleased with this book. The style is explanatory about the circumstances thatimprove and deteriorate diabetes. It is well written. I would have appreciated somemore illustrations, though the highlighted page numbers are appreciated. Possibly the 2nd editionis not the latest.

The book goes into type 1 detail lots of info with that type of disorder has some type 2 info some details into carbs, glucose and the assimilation ofglucose and insulin. Thats my opinion and if nobody like's it than they know where they can stick there head.

I am a distant blood relative to DR Eliot P. Joslin! The founder of Joslin diabetes center, so it was a no brainer to own this book! The book has a lot of useful information and knowledge on diabetes! It has helped me manage my type 2 very well!
