Maclocks Lockable iPad Security Case with 6-Foot Cable, Clear (iPad2/3/4CB)

Lieferung Top, alles andere Flop. Das Plastik ist mehr als billig verarbeitet. Wenn man hier ein klein wenig Gewalt anwenden würde, hätte ich das IPad ganz schnell wieder draußen. Sicherheit wir meiner Ansicht nach damit keine gewährleistet. Desweiteren habe ich die hintere Klappe einmal geöffnet und schon den Metallstift, der die Klappe an der Halterung fixiert in der Hand gehabt. Da dieses raus gebrochen ist, ist es schon defekt und nicht mehr zu reparieren und das nach ganzen 30 Sekunden!!!!Desweiteren verstehe ich mit " Security Case Bundle" das hier auch das Schloss (Stahlkabel) mit geliefert wird. Dies ist nicht der Fall. Dies wird leider in keinem Punkt erwähnt.Fazit: Der Schutz ist nur optisch vorhanden. Ist das Geld nicht wert...

I bought this case to secure it to my car for work and it is so fragile I haven't even put it in my car yet and the clips are breaking off! With the quality of high grade plastics these days there should be no reason for the case to be cracking at the clips. Remember the plastics in the early 90's? That seems to be what this is made out of, cd case quality plastic(if you even remember what cd's are). I have had 3 clips out of 4 break off and have only opened and closed the case 5 times. My suggestion, buy something better. Definitely not this. See photos of the 4 clips along with this review.

The plastic case seems flimsy and fragile - it won't stand up to any rough handling, When it arrived I could not get the lock to work. I spent over an hour fiddling with it, and even visiting websites to see if I was doing anything wrong. I was on the point of deciding that there was a design fault, and returning it as not fit for purpose.Eventually I discovered that the hole in the metal plate through which the key slots was out of alignment with the corresponding slots in the plastic case. Fortunately I was able to use a screwdriver to nudge the metal plate sideways until all the slots lined up. The key now works.So it does the job, but my impression is of cheap workmanship. Even though this is at the low end of the price range for locking cases, it still seems poor value for money.

This product is excellent for general protection. We use it in our office as a theft deterrent. It covers the whole iPad and would be very difficult to remove. No one is leaving with out iPad unless they have bolt-cutters or an hour to pry it from the hard plastic case.
