Simply Remarkable1mm Waterproof Chalk Pen

I ordered these because I really needed a fine-tip gold chalk marker. This was the only one I could find! Everything else out there is either a multi-colored set with *large-tip* gold & silver chalk markers (that even though they say they can be used as fine-tip if you hold them on the angled edge - tried that and that does NOT work!!), OR a multi-colored set with every color except for gold and silver!! (OR, something ridiculous like a company selling one fine-tip gold chalk marker for like $30 or $40 (as if anyone's going to pay that)). So... seems you have the monopoly on fine-tip gold chalk markers!! Worked great, was so happy this worked for what I needed (unlike the Blami co.'s wide-tip gold chalk marker who claims it WILL work as a fine-tip by turning & angling it -- tried it; ha!!). So I was so pleased to be able to finally get my project done! My only complaint is that your price is too expensive for what this is, one marker. I could have got a whole set with tons of colors (except for gold) from Blami, or another co. that sells similar sets, for a *tremendously* better value, compared with one marker from you for $8. I can't understand why I can get 10 fat chalk markers from Blami for about $15 and 1 skinny one from you for $8. If I paid $8 per marker in the Blami/etc. kinds of sets, it would cost me around $80. (Not seeing the logic in all this.....). So I was not happy about that at all. But I just bit the bullet just in order to be able to do my project. :( I was very happy about the quality of this marker & the way it worked was fantastic. I would bump you up to five stars if you would sell it for an accurate price. Or if you don't think you can make money doing that, my suggestion is to please consider making a multi-colored set that includes gold & silver (you could do it in a fine-tip version and a wide-tip version) and sell it at a competitive price to the Blami/other co.'s sets. *That* is really needed!!! :P

I use chaulk pens for labels on my mason jars for my pantry. They look so nice and neat. However, after the long task of trying to write pretty and making all of my labels, when I went to wipe the jar off, the chaulk pen marking came off....like easy! Not this one. It specifies that if you need to remove your markings to use an amonia based product. I messed up and has to remove a few and re-write them. They did not just wipe off, which makes since. I used an amonia based product and it removed very easily.I will be getting more in different sizes for smaller size jars.

I make soaps and toiletries. Due to this, I tend to have a lot of stuff in storage boxes, totes, and anywhere else I can store things. The problem is that a lot of times when I'm looking for something, I have to dig through a bunch of different places in order to find what I'm looking for. This means that by the time I'm ready to actually make the product, I'm already annoyed and tired.I tried regular labels, but switched things around so much that all it did was make a mess and leave adhesive everywhere when I tried to pull them off to add a new label. I bought chalkboard labels in the hopes that I'd be able to label things better, and keep things sorted properly. I first tried to use the sidewalk chalk I had at the house. As you can imagine, that wasn't exactly fruitful. Next, I got regular sized chalk. Still, I couldn't read it at all. I tried finding the markers in our stores but couldn't, so I finally hopped online and ordered them here.I wish I'd ordered sooner. These are great, the 1mm fine tip works excellently. The chalk ink flows easily, writes cleanly, stays sharp, and dries fast. What more could you ask for? I can finally read the labels and start getting things sorted easier. If these run out, I'll definitely be buying more!

You really have to let it dry for a bit so it doesn’t run.

I finally found a chalk pen that is PERFECT! I recently bought chalkboard labels & thought they would be fun to label glass storage containers in my pantry. I tried water based chalk pens, but discovered if I touched the labels, the ink smeared & I had to constantly rewrite the labels. Realizing I needed a waterproof marker, I ordered a 1 mm waterproof chalk pen from Simply Remarkable. Unfortunately Amazon shipped a 2mm pen in error which was too thick for my small labels. Disappointed that I had been sent a different pen that I could not return, I contacted the company about Amazon's shipping error. Their customer service exceeded all my expectations. The CEO contacted me personally & went out of her way to make sure I quickly received my 1mm pen quickly along with a free chisel tip pen to try. I thought the company's response was fantastic.My 1mm pen is perfect for labeling my 2 inch by 1 inch oval chalkboard stickers. The chalk ink is a nice opaque white, and does not smear at all once it dries. Windex removes the ink completely, I am very pleased. I would absolutely order from this company again.
