Poor sound quality.
The turntable had very poor sound quality, and also the turntable speed seemed to vary, non contast, dragging and then returning to normal.

Brilliant product.
This record player is brilliant. It can play 33's 45's 78's and will also play cassettes. It has a radio and a usb port. It can pretty much play anything you need playing. The sound quality isn't top notch but it doesn't cost a fortune and it has given my cassettes a new lease of life, if only to show the kids what they actually are! I've also been able to play all the old 78's I've got. I love this thing.

Amazing value for money
My wife was after a Hifi system that could digitise her large LP and cassette collection. After an internet search we came across this machine for £90, compared to a similar product that cost £170. I have to say that we can't really fault this machine.OK the speakers are only 2 watts but the bass and treble are nicely balanced to give a very acceptable sound output. Some of the function key procedures are a little less than intuitive, particularly when recording and using the auxiliary functions, however, remember this machine can play vinyl, cassette, cd and radio; record all of them on to a usb stick or sd card; then you can playback recordings from the usb stick or sd card through the machine. That's a lot of options so maybe the key presses/options can't be that intuitive. Having said that it didn't take long to figure it all out.So all in all an brilliant machine that does everything it's claimed it can do, for an unbelievably low price. Some useful tips:When you put a cassette into the slot the cassette should be angled slightly upwards rather than kept horizontal. If like most people you will be using this to digitise your LP and/or cassette collection you should invest in:1. a cassette head cleaner. Old cassettes deteriorate over time and playing them will lead to a build up of deposits on the tape head that will affect playback and recording. Using the head cleaner will help reduce the hiss, crackles and pops from old cassettes, though not entirely.2. a vinyl record cleaner cloth and solution. You will be surprised how much dust and muck is in the grooves of your LPs. Use this cleaning kit before playing your old LPs to get the best possible playback from your records. When you record from LPs and cassettes on to a usb stick (which is the best option) or sd card. The recordings will be named REC1, REC2, REC3, ... Unlike CDs and DVDs these types of media aren't digitised so they will not have an index system built-in. For example side 1 of an LP will be named REC1, side 2 - REC2 (the same applies to cassettes). I suggest you confine your recording sessions to a relatively small number of LPs or cassettes then plug your stick or card in to your computer and rename these files with the titles from the LP sleeve or cassette cover and copy the files on to your hard drive for storage. Delete the recordings from the usb stick or sd card ready for the next recording session. Finally if you feel you need to improve the quality of your recordings by removing the hiss and clicks from vinyl and cassette recordings you should download a program called Audacity. It is open source software and completely free (don't be persuaded to pay for it). Audacity has, amongst hundreds of other functions, two very useful effects; Click removal and Noise removal. The default settings should do a pretty good job of cleaning up your recordings, however there's nothing stopping you adjusting the settings to see if you can improve things further. So, bottom line is, if you have a large collection of LPs gathering dust and cassettes slowly disintegrating, and you want to rescue them, I don't think you can really go wrong with this machine. It's a bargain!

What a wonderful system!
I am really impressed with this. I bought this as it is the perfect combination of all music devices (Record player, CD, Cassette, Radio, Bluetooth, USB/SD) and looks wonderfully vintage as well. I have played around with all the devices and they all work beautifully. I'm particularly impressed with the record player as the sound is crystal clear and smooth. For my purposes (in a medium sized living room), the sound quality is really good with no need for additional speakers. If I was to make any )very) minor criticism, it would be that the power lead is pretty short at around 1 metre, which wasn't quite long enough to put the player where I initially wanted it. Still, it's more than worth the money and a really good quality buy.

Looks so beautiful....sounds amazing!
I bought this vinyl player for my 20 year old daughter who has discovered records over the last few years and had a vinyl player which sadly broke earlier this year. She loves all things vintage looking and when she opened this on Christmas morning her face lit up. I'd already tested it a few days before with one of her Carpenters albums and it almost made me cry.....the sound quality was absolutely beautiful and has such a nostalgic quality. My daughter hasn't tested the cd or cassette features yet but found it very easy to pair her phone to the player using Bluetooth. I would definitely recommend this for anyone rediscovering old vinyls or discovering vinyl for the very first time. It is very big so will need a fair amount of room on a sideboard or table etc but the measurements are all in the product description. Perfect present or a treat for yourself, it's a real delight!

Easy to operate and the retro look is really pleasing on the eye!Definitely recommend and a bargain at just under £90.00!
